Shanghai Boat Show at the SNIEC, possibly my last expo !
Join me as I return to the SNIEC in Pudong Shanghai to visit the 27th International Boat Show in March 2024.
With the new Community tab available to small channels, I have done a poll of what I should concentrate on, and it's not expos, however, I had this one already in the bag so will release it. I will be concentrating more on transport in future.

The Shanghai New International Expo Center is an exhibition center in Pudong, Shanghai. It hosts many exhibitions, including the Shanghai Motor Show. It has also hosted the 2002 Tennis Masters Cup, where one of the halls was temporarily converted into a tennis court. With more than 100 exhibitions per year and a turnover rate of 27 (2015), SNIEC is one of the world's most successful exhibition venues.

We DO want your expos Tim!! And especially the explanations which make this technical discipline so accessible for us non-sailors, eg “there’s a sailing one over there”

Next one might be ‘plastics’ but hopefully that’s better than ‘starch’ or ‘underground spaces’
While cars go electric but boat has not yet? Correct me if I'm wrong. While China has been able to make large cruise ship, what about yacht? Or it's not yet time? Especially large yacht, I think that will be the next level industry for China.

Electric motors for boats are not problems, but batteries may be concerned because of the size and weight, and recharging time😅. But I think electric is the future.

A large number of electric ships have been used in China inland river ferries. The characteristic of these ships is that they don't need to work continuously (usually stop at night) Due to the charging time, there is no electric ships for long-distance transportation at present.
