@@rooshanasif5897 he was the lightest in weight he's ever been, Shane was heavier in his early playing career, but he did have to work hard to keep the weight off and he was an occasional smoker which can lift the chances of heart attack and high cholesterol. I'm sad he is gone and I didn't even know the man personally but it is a huge loss to Australia. there is some speculation that virus vaccine had something to do with it from a side effect, but we will never know. his death scares me because I'm 40 and struggling with my weight and I have Atrial fibrillation which is a abnormal heart beat and on heart medication and fatty liver disease.

Im watching this after Warney’s passing and all I can say is NO. NO NO NO. I only knew Shane from afar like most people, but this feels personal. I don’t know why. I think it’s because he was a huge talent, so unpretentious, just so bloody REAL. I never met him but I heard that Shane had real charisma, REAL CHARISMA on a universal scale. It makes sense watching old interviews and hearing stories. I just want to say that I’m really sad. I’m sad! And I’m not even a cricket or Warne tragic! ! Oh boy, What must THEY be feeling tonight? All I can say is thank-you for the most joyous moments delivered to family summertime, cricket afternoons. I hope you knew how bloody much it all meant to us all. You were so special Warnie. SO SPECIAL. how could anyone not love you? Everyone I knew loved you, even if they weren’t into cricket. Thank-you, you lovely, one-of-a-kind beautiful soul. You’ll never be forgotten... never, ever. I love Warnie. He was a genius as a bowler, he has an amazing cricketing brain, and he tells it how it is. I nearly fell off my chair when I heard that Justin Langer had resigned; he's a man of principle who was one of the greats in one of the greatest cricket teams ever. All I can say is that this Aussie team had best perform out of their skins for the next 5 years because anything less will be a damning reflection on the appalling treatment of an amazing cricketer who dragged Australian cricket up by its bootstraps when it had fallen as low as it could get. And if the team do fail I wonder how many of the 'executives' of Cricket Australia will fall on their swords? That's a rhetorical question :-)

Here's a thought, make 50 overs cricket a red & pink ball game, red ball day games, pink ball day nighters. It would really stimulate the 50 overs game for the better imo. Audiences would love it imo. Keep white balls for T20 and Hundred tournaments. Make test cricket and 50 overs more aligned giving budding test players a great platform to play in, an intro into getting a test spot thru 50 overs red ball games. Also gives teams more games with pink ball so we see more of that ball and players world wide get more practice with it, cricket gets more data too.

We used to immitate your bowling action and wanted to be you... RIP Shane - We Love You!

Last Interview on Fox, I listened to this Interview like a week ago and thinking about a lot of things he was talking about backing up his former mate Langer, Literally shocked and devastated even though I didn't see him play a lot in my younger days, I mostly saw his broadcasting and just fell in love and My God the wealth of knowledge this guy had was unbelievable, Just like Ramiz Raja said "A lot of cricket has died with you today Warnie!" ...

As conductor who has guided (often significantly developing) music groups of a variety of types and levels I agree with Shane Warne's underlying message about a group's players and committee members needing to respect the appointed leader of that group (and their chosen approach, assuming that it is 'sound') and not significantly interfere with that approach for a while until it is clear that that approach isn't working (or can't work) for that particular group/combination of players. This is so that the full potential of that leader's approach/es can be properly explored and obtained (even if that result falls somewhat short of expectations), instead of committee chopping and changing things prematurely purely due to annoyance amongst/personality differences with some players. Sometimes a chosen leader is not good enough or the right fit for a group, in which case they should be moved on in an appropriate and timely manner. However without giving a group leader enough time and appropriate 'agency' in furthering a chosen approach/es the full potential of an approach with a given group likely won't become achieved or even 'known'. I am not at all saying that most attempted approaches by a group's leader will be 'sound' and can/will result in significant performance improvement by a group, instead merely saying that the success of a group's leader and their approach/es should be fairly judged with full (appropriate) context. Too often I have observed a conductor (in the few months or 1-3 years after being appointed conductor or a group who a relatively weak/underperforming) start to really soundly develop a group only to then be 'moved on' (or sidelined) purely because enough committee members are of the opinion that the desired quality of a group's performances should have been achieved by that conductor by that time OR because of mere difference of personalities (assuming inappropriate behaviour by the conductor doesn't occur). Giving a leader appropriate support and time to achieve desired outcomes is particularly important when a group is in a period where significant development/improvement is needed (even if that period is a moderately long one before significantly improved performances are obtained) rather than prematurely acting on individual stylistic/interpersonal opinions by a few individual players as in such 'development' situations players are likely to not be completely comfortable with something either to do with the approach of and 'performance' by themselves of others due to kinks being navigated. This is very commonly the case when 'hard truths' are told to either an individual or a group and bad habits/skills are highlighted, hence why a player's personal feelings (and situation) behind any comments they make about how a group's leader is leading a group need to be appropriately factored in by a group's committee when they consider acting on player feedback. This can get easily complicated when committee members are also either performing within that group themselves or have selected individual players to perform within that group, and are therefore also being directly judged on related individual performances. Of course the reverse is also the case in regard opinions by a group's leader about their own approach/performance/conduct, and as such should also be factored in to any related judgement made by committee. Yes if a coach/director is either causing offence to, disrespecting players or adversely effecting individuals / a whole group then of course that absolutely needs to be swiftly (and likely firmly) dealt with by a group's committee. However such issues with how a leader delivers their approach/address players doesn't automatically mean that the essence of their whole approach isn't working or that that approach shouldn't be respected on its own merits. By and large groups whose committee appropriately 'backs' a leader and their approach tend to have greater success than if that group's committee were to be overly interventionist in relation to the approach of the appointed leader of a geoup, not least because any noticeable 'intervention' will almost always have a negative impact on how players view and respond to their leader, regardless of whether or not an intervention (or type of intervention that is made) is appropriate. This doesn't however mean that committees should always be 'hands off' in their general approach to administrating and supporting a performing group, as the best committees I've worked with are extremely practically 'hands on', however such practical engagement by committee members is only fully successful if such actions are cohesive with sound actions/approaches enacted by the group's leader or by other committee members or players. If a group's leader has been given enough/appropriate time and support to achieve the full potential of their approach/es (or get relatively close to it) and their approach clearly isn't working then yes by all means sit down with that leader and work out a way to meaningfully and appropriately change that approach (be it via significant change in approach either under that leader or by having that leader leave). But if overly or inappropriately interventions actions made by committee that undermine a group's respect for that leader then that committee shouldn't be surprised if results don't improve. Either appropriately commit to and support the chosen leader or 'move them on' and live with the consequences of any of actions that are either acted upon or avoided. Too often the leader of a developing group (particularly for a group whose performances, and/or culture, have relatively recently been poor) is automatically blamed for a group not completely improving in a short timeframe rather than being judged on the full context of the group's situation.
