"You never gonna come in and smoke everyone".....then that's exactly what he doe's 🤣🤣
That is one of the most relaxed and open interviews I have seen from Shane. Just shows the ability of the interviewers nature to bring the real Shane to the surface.

Can remember shaking his hand and telling him how impressed I was with his performance in quarter midgets while walking in the pits at Wester Springs many years ago, and then again while he was rallying - he always made time to talk to me. He is a super nice guy and full of enthusiasm for the sport and the fans, as well an absolute master of any format he competes in. He's a great representative of New Zealand and motorsport in general. Never dreamed he'd go this far.

@@martinhami3 I'm a whincup fan but SVG is more talented as he has won races in many different classes of vehicles and been in a lot of top 5 and top tens. Where SVG beats wincup is his ability to just jump in anycar and be quick where as whincup was really only winnning in v8 supercars

He sure made it look easy at the end of the race. What a great drive from SVG
His funniest moment was after he won the Bathurst in 2022 he was drunk for his television interview the next morning, after a night of partying
Go SVG, show them how good you are at steering! Even if you don't win, I am sure you will have them all wondering where on Earth you came from!! I am #97 SVG for life.. but on Sunday I will be #91. After watching this interview & seeing your responses, I don't think I would be too sad if you left Supercars for a NASCAR ride.
