Had been considering translating this version for quite a while now, and after I watched the new version of the anime, I finally got myself to complete this thing. I really love this version. Too bad it was only used in the 2001 anime, while in the 2021 reboot they left the original opening in Japanese (so, no, even though in the video I used clips from both anime’s, this song itself was only used in the older one).

When it comes to Italian dubbings of anime, the TV channel which took care of most of them between the 80s and 00s, used to buy the rights for the show, but not for the songs. This led to a complete re-writing of the songs, with completely different melodies and often lyrics as well (if you don’t buy the rights, you don’t even buy translations, I suppose). This is the reason why all Italian anime openings have little to nothing in common with the original Japanese tracks.

The Italian and Russian versions of the OG series opening were my favorites!
I just recently discovered this, and I can't thank you enough for the translation and the great video quality. The video was very well put togheter as well. And the song is nothing short of amazing, will certainly look up more of Marco's songs:)

Occasionalmente capita. Per il momento sono...perplessa...diciamo che prima di giudicarla, voglio vedere dove sta andando a parare, perché sembra abbia qualche finalità che ancora non capisco...oppure ci sono solo un mucchio di scelte fatte ad cazzum e non ci troverò un senso più profondo

@@FlamSparks Guarda, io ho letto il manga e sembra che abbiano fatto una scelta alla FMA Brotherhood, ovvero che i primi episodi li fanno velocissimi e poi si riprendono quando cominciano ad adattare la roba che il vecchio anime non ha coperto, infatti gli ultimi episodi stanno migliorando... speriamo bene

A livello ufficiale, ho solo un certificato di B2, essenzialmente perché non mi sono mai messa a prepararmi per il C1, anche se so che prima o poi mi servirà un pezzo di carta anche per quel livello
