Looks great! How shallow are you able to run and have you ever it the skeg off the bottom in that position?

I can run in 5-6 inches of water, my area is soft mud bottom so it’s a little more forgiving, lol.
Were you seeing the cavitation at the prop?
Very impressed! What’s the lowest speed that you can stay on plane with the motor than high?

Around 13-14 if I remember correctly
Do you realize that the gyroscopic action of the prop shaft when set at that angle is forcing the bow down and consequently the stern up? The Shaw Wing May be adding some lift but the predominant physics is the gyroscopic action.

I think that I can speak for him...life's lessons and hands-on experience along with common sense, he knows what's going on. He doesn't need an engineering degree with all of the technical dialog to know what is happening. It works well,that's all we need to know
what prop you running? I have a similar setup on a 21ft fiberclass cat hull w/ a 200 zuke and cav plate. The plate is a night and day difference for skinny water operations, but the prop is also a huge portion of that - I run a 21p powertech cfs4 and its pretty dang good but it definitely likes to dig a bit more and be low on the jackplate for holeshot compared to yours - I can't get up anywhere near 6 on the plate.

Mine is a ofs4 20 pitch. It it heavy cupped for lift and grip.
Does the 4 blade prop help with the spinning out top along with the cav plate? Just put the same Jack plate on my 1860 g3 and it’s cavitating allot.

A heavy cupped 4 blade prop will give you a better hole shot, let you stay on plane at a lower speed, and let you run higher on your jack plate without cavitation!
Excellent demo brother. I have got to show this to my buddy. He is having a hard time keeping his pontoon from cavitating. 😎🇺🇸🤠🇺🇸

Does the plate ever hit your sponsons? Thats my #1 concern with mine. My sponsons are almost too big for my boat

Half of the prop is above the bottom of the boat, but is still in hard water due to the Shaw Wing and boat design

Just added one to my express 190 hb bay boat and has been incredible for getting me in the hole shot super fast. Have the original 3 blade prop and gonna upgrade to 4 blade to get motor up higher
Is that boat a tunnel or a flat?
