Shall you buy the $300 AUTOart Lexus LS500h or not?
Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары
In this video I will compare the older and unbranded Lexus LS500h (maybe from Paudi?) and the newly released one from AUTOart. I have already reviewed the older one here: • 1:18 Lexus LS500h Unbo...
There is a table with my rating at the and of the video. Enjoy and let me know in the comments which one would you prefer.

If price is not considered, the AUTOart looks much more realistic: The paint and body look much smoother, the openable shutlines look tighter and more even, unopenable shutlines like the fuel door looks much crisper, even the parts that are plastic on both like the chrome trim looks sharper and cleaner. The taillights are considerably better. The AR is still a good model, and I saw on diecastxchange forum it's not too hard to lower the car since it has a suspension. I think the plastic model has some benefits like it'll never get paint rash (even some of my newer models have tiny bits) and it'll never fall apart from zinc pest. However, someday I might want to mod the model to make it look like a Wald, and the AR will be much easier to lower. For me, it's a $55 difference, $154 vs $209. Definitely hard to decide if the AUTOart is $55 worth of better or not.
Excellent comparison!, both models are really beautiful!!.. Greetings. 😉✌
*Great video!*
Autoart: wheels, front grille, tail lights, minimal panel gaps Almost Real: everything else :D

Marek, the Chinese model is a Dealer Edition made by Sum's Models (Almost Real Owner) For Lexus/Toyota China.

Occasionally you are really funny 🤣
Great showing. However, I’d like to see more of the underneath details of the model. How the engine suspension and exhaust look under the vehicle. Thanks Buddy.
This is amazing pal 😊

Beautiful 😍😍😍💯 I think the Chinese one is a Little bit better! The unknown brands from China are always PAUDI. It‘s right. Very cool review😇

Diecast car review Yes it can be also a Almost-Real model, but I think the quality isn’t like a Almost Real model, because they make better models like that Lexus.

I like it a lot when model cars have folding mirrors, but unfortunately many times, when unfolded the mirror is sitting too low or just crooked compared to the other one..
the interior is always important to me
The weight may be more on the Chinese 'dealer edition' model, but as you can see from a video on my channel, the weight isn't everything. I have a Kyosho LC500 and AutoArt LC500, and the Kyosho one probably weighs about twice the AutoArt but the detail absolutely sucks - the paint especially.
The tail lights on the expensive one were so much better
i bought the 180$ one, i love it very much is is so nice and looks so realistic, the 300$ one i wouldnt even spend time trying to get

Great comparison! I have an odd question, will you be reviewing the Infiniti QX30 1 18 by paudi or the Infiniti Q60 1 18 by paudi in the future? Thanks. Fyi, I asked paudi and apparently in the future, they will be producing Infiniti QX80 and the Nissan Pathfinder which I'm looking forward to both, thank you for the comparison/review :)

I am not sure yet
Hi, a small suggestion about the lighting. It looks like you only reply on light that comes from a window. The result of this is that the interiors of the cars are really dark including the hood, trunk interiors. Ensuring better lighting will greatly help us appreciate those interior details and give us a better idea of the overall details in the cars. Thanks.

In my recent videos I already use additional light. Thanks!
you should do ford explorer 2012 and 2016 and 2020 model
how many screws can you see underneath the Dealer Edition Lexus? im pretty sure you could undo the bottom of the model and take the suspension springs and cut them, thus dropping the suspension for an acceptable ride height. i hope you kept the Dealer Edition. the autoart is very nicely detailed but it looks way too basic for its price. black interior hides a lot. plus no screens, toolkit in the trunk, warning labels, or operating sunroof.
I managed to get the Autoart version for less than it sells for. normally £250 to £300 and I got it for £138. I thought they made a mistake, i payed for it and it arrived. both look good but autoart has better details in my opinion. costs more but quality is better..
Its good ...this car
Could you plz share the link of the Chinese website ?!
Bonjour je suis à la recherche d une panamera turismo au 1:18ème pourriez-vous me dire où je pourrais commander se model merci sinon belle vidéo
Great review but one thing to point out. The $180 one is not a “replica” or fake it is actually the Official dealer edition in China. Sold on the official Lexus China collection site.
AUTOart is the way to go but they switch to Composite. That AA lexus you have is a composite. I would highly recommend to the the older AUTOart Lexus LS600 since that one is Diecast and signature AUTOart line

I have the AA LS600. This video was comparing the same generation made by two different companies.
24:26 I thought you liked the silver wheels on the AutoART?????
The Paudi/faw did a great job it's heavy very detailed door/ engine stickers. AA is cheaply made and are bad
I prefer the Paudi one because it is not composite
My problem with the Chinese Lexus is the wheel gap at the front of the car
Be honest, the autoart rear light are awesome, compared to the chinese one! Overall i would prefer autoart personnaly, but 120 more is a massive gap Folding mirror is fun but the mirror seems more elegant on the autoart?
the autoart is on sale right now for 130 EUR but yeah i feel like the interior is disappointing and at the end of the day it is a lightweight sedan so unless you are a lexus fan, just get one of the many many norev sedans for even less

130 EUR is a great price. Sometimes I regret buying the models in the first wave :)
😲
Autoart exterior details and quality build is finer. Even the paint quality is much finer also. While the Chinese model has finer interior details. I would get the Autoart model for the above reasons.
where i can buy this almostreal lexus? its only sold in china. can someone share the link?

Just search ebay.com
Would you please consider balancing the volume of the introductory music with the volume of the narration? The music is so much louder that the production value of your video suffers. Good content but poor presentation.

Ok next time
the one from the unknown brand has horrible panel gaps
I feel dizzy after i watch the video🥴 the way you move the camera is really odd and its way too fast, slow it down
the chinese one called shuenlin
For some reason the Aoutoart one is a bit lower than the other one

The real car raises and lowers when parked and riding in order to allow the driver to enter and exit easier. AutoArt have went for the lowest suspension setting whereas the unbranded one is at the 'getting in the car' height.

You came too early to read comments :)
If you changed the grills then you would not have a hole in the AutoArt model as you say because you would put the Chinese one in there. Its not rocket science. Anyway, I'd do the swap for the better model, I love customization.
the beginning really though the image is reversed
auto art
The chinese one is Almost Real
Too expensive for AA. I have dealer edition Lexus LC500h and absolutely love it. Better than this dealer edition. Ride suspension on mine is better and a lot of moving parts. Check it out on my channel.
Grams is the correct way to measure weight....end of discussion.
It is not "shall", it is "should". No offense bro
I prefer chinese model....less cost ...interior color...funcional parts : suspension... side grills... kit repair.
The Chinese model
Basing the quality of it just because it’s heavier is just nonsense. A rock is heavier, so you mean it’s better quality and detailed?! Please get real. It’s more to do with the details and overall finish of the model, not weight.
Imagine buying a cheap Maisto car and filling it up with fishing weights.... Weight is not everything, not even close to the importants aspect of a model in my opinion...
I'm sorry, but your suggestion of a heavier model equalling better quality is flawed on all levels. Firstly, the Autoart model is clearly more finely detailed. Yes, the Chinese model might have a couple more features or details but the overall finish is more crude and less refined than the Autoart on all levels. Just look at the tail lights and the engine bay, let alone the grille, that horrible gap between the bonnet and the front of the car, and the paint on the Chinese version shows quite bad "orange peel" effect. Also, the ride height is far too high to represent a realistic representation of the real car. It looks like an SUV. Also, the Autoart model is of no risk of developing zinc pest or paint rash over time like the diecast version is. I don't disagree that the Chinese model is good value, but any collector that wants the best quality model of an LS500H would be better off with the Autoart.

Thanks for your opinion. I know that many collectors still prefer diecast over plastic. And the heavy weight is a nice factor. I know that many resin companies are adding weights to their resin models just to satisfy this feeling of us, collectors.
@diecastdimension4124

@@ExternalStar I understand some collectors have a preference for diecast, just as some have a preference for composite on the basis that composite allows for finer details and tighter shutlines etc. What I'm saying is that heavier does NOT automatically = better quality. You may think it FEELS better quality, and you may PREFER heavier rather than lighter, but anyone who is honest and saw all the flaws in the Chinese model, would say it is not a better "quality" model.
Are you russian ? You accent sounds like russian
I have the AR Model and I absolutely hate the stance. It looks like an SUV with that ride height. However, I don’t think there’s enough justification to spend over $100 more for the model with a better stance. If the prices were equal, I would take the AutoArt just for the stance alone.

By AR do you mean Almost Real? This is completely unbranded so I am asking where do you have this info from?
