Frochy, the biggest problem you had versus Ward is that when you were in close, you couldn’t get off with your shots because you were winging and telegraphing your hooks and uppercuts and Ward’s shots landed first because they travelled a shorter distance mate. The way to beat a quicker-fisted guy is by making sure your shots aren’t wide, like Vernon Forrest demonstrated perfectly in his first fight with Mosley - Forrest beat the faster man to the punch by hitting right through the middle. No arching shots.

Fascinating to watch. Carl asks Tony who's better out of Froch / Calzaghe, Tony replies with Calzaghe. Direct, no sugarcoating anything, just saying what he believes. Straight to the point, but with respect. Same goes for Carl accepting Tony's opinion. I saw no pride getting on its high horse, no egos refusing to accept someone might be better than themselves, just two humble lads enjoying a chat. It's always seemed to me, that 99.99% of *retired* boxers have that 'war veteran' mindset. I.e., they've walked the walk, smashed lumps out of each other, bought the t-shirt, etc, yet have no desire to act like tough guys. Warrriors displaying the warrior's code. They both display a quiet confidence that very probably orignates from living a life of discipline that's been forged in the squared circle. Respect to both. As an aside, concerning the Calzaghe question, I'm not even sure Canelo Alvarez beats "the Cobra" over 12 rounds. But then, Carl is 46 :D

Bellew looks and sounds depressed because his mate Liam Smith lost. Bellew has put his own reputation and name through the gutter defending the indefensible Conor Benn. Same as Eddie Hearn. Why are they doing this. Its not like Benn has ever won a credible title. Hasn't beaten anybody. If it was AJ, I can half imagine it. With Benn, he isn't really worth anything. Except 1 payday with Eubank with Jr being a major A-side. Weird how they have thrown themselves under the bus for a gimmick fighter living off his dads name.

Both very entertaining, but Carl has superior knowledge about boxing, and things related to it. My all time favourite boxing's wise man uses to be Emanuel Steward, but he's unfortunately not around anymore. (Too bad he didn't live long enough to start he's own KZread channel...) And these videos changed my opinion of Carl too. Used to think that he was bit of a dickhead, but now I see him as someone I could have a beer with. Cheers!
