    he is also a counter puncher's dream. his lack of defense and the loud noise that he makes when he's swinging will make it extremely easy for Tank Davis to land perfectly timed counter punches (when they decide to fight)

    He makes it look so so so easy. Man his punches are so fast and so accurate. He is like a laser pointer, as soon as it turns on it is there. Also he is so complete with his defenses and slips, insane reaction times and amazing killer instinct. But probably the best part of his game is his distance management. He is in n out just chefs kiss.

    @@Poppa_Silky_Paper Yeah, but aside from Devin and Tank who is going to look like anything other than a punching bag against Shakur? That’s a telltale sign of a great fighter, he makes really good fighters look average. Valdez and Herring were not at all bums. Those are two very good fighters, Shakur is just a different level. Just because someone gets dominated by a great fighter doesn’t make them automatically trash.

    @@mikeoath9541 I think you’re gonna be disappointed. Loma is a great fighter, the GOAT amateur. But he’s up against it with Haney. There’s a reason that Loma vacated his a belt a couple years ago to avoid fighting Haney. It’s not a good matchup for him. Same deal with Shakur. Both those guys are too long for Loma. They’re too young. They’re too fit. Plus they’re smart. Teo gave Loma problems, and Teo is a full level below these guys, maybe two levels.

    Tank isn’t all that great. He’s a very good fighter, he’s a 8/10 in almost every category except defense would be maybe 7/10. That’s very very good, that’s good enough to accomplish everything he’s accomplished so far. But he’s also 3 years older than Shakur and 4 years older than Ryan and Devin. He’s in his athletic prime right now. All of the knowledge he’s gained mentally from his fights, the reaction time, muscle memory, etc. is perfectly in line with his power, speed, stamina, skill. None of the others are even close yet. Wait 2 years when those younger guys are coming into their prime and Tank is slowly going to decline from his.

  • @actionjackson1293

    @actionjackson1293

    As of right now I’d say Ryan is probably the only one that stands a chance against Tank in a fight with no rehydration clause and at a catch weight. Ryan is a 10/10 In speed, 9/10 in power, 7.5 in endurance and a 6/10 in defense. Shakur is a 10/10 in speed, 6/10 in power, 10/10 in defense and 7.5/10 in endurance. Devin is probably a solid 6.5 out of 10 across everything with defense being a 7.5/10.

    Stevenson is very well rounded but what impresses me the most is how every time he makes his opponent miss, he’s punishing them for it by landing something strong in return. He doesn’t move his feet, he moves his head just enough to make his opponent miss before hitting them really hard from close distance. That’s one of the most difficult things to master in boxing and it’s what I’d point to as an indicator that he’s ready right now to take on either Haney or Davis.
