Big Shakur fan but that felt cringe to me. He has to learn how to move in silence and not burn bridges . I remember that interview & BC didn’t come off like that… it seemed like he was trying not to put words in TC mouth but it could’ve been some messy Showtime mess since Shakur fights for ESPN Top Rank

Shakur is my favorite fighter at the 135 lbs division. It’s sad that he can’t get the marquee fights that he needs to cement his legacy. I hope things change going forward.

I watched the sparring session and it was a close sparring session. Shakur Stevenson didn't "beat the shit out of him." Devin Haney actually landed the harder shots and landed a solid one that landed flushed. Shakur was on his back foot a lot of the times too. It was highly competitive and close though. Not one side dominated imo. Jaron Ennis is not an avoided fighter just not an attraction. Shakur over Ennis when it comes to being AVOIDED for sure! 'Silk' would be a good nickname imo lol!

He said he went to the WBC to make him a Mandatory fighter so that means the that route would have gotten him more money then Devin was offering. So if I wanted to fight a guy wouldn’t I just accept the mandatory and fight him? Devin gave his belt up because he moved to 140. If Devin never went to 140 he would’ve had to fight Shakur on the WBC Mandatory! So that is giving your belt up because he’s saying I don’t want to fight him I’m moving to 140. Your just stuck on the first contact Devin sent.
