I remember once going to a party that was next to a Shakira concert, I didn’t go to the concert because I wasn’t that much into Shakira but while outside hanging out I started hearing a familiar sound, I was like “is that nothing else matters? For real?” I was quite pleasantly surprised that Shakira played that song on her shows!

Fui ver a Shakira no Morumbi dia 19/03/11 e foi surreal, me lembro de estar frio e chuviscando, quando ela começou a cantar essa música uma energia incrível invadiu o público e creiam a lua apareceu as nuvens abriram e a lua apareceu durante essa música, foi a coisa mais linda que eu já pude presenciar ... Energia linda

that's accurate.... thats what a cover is cause if you tru to do every part of the song then you're just like saying :'hey asshole look is your own song and i can sing it better than you' but she made it completely her own

I love this version, as well as the original from Metallica. This song was written by James Hetfield as a love song to his wife. This song is haunting, yet beautiful. Shakira did a great job covering this amazing song in both English and Spanish.
