The Americas, Arab, European, African, Asian countries love her! She's had success all over the world. Most western artist don't reach that type of success. So it makes sense for her to be chosen to represent the biggest sporting event in the world!

Than in 2010 she also was asked to do the official song for the work cup that year and she did WAKA WAKA, than because of the impact of waka waka people wanted her to do the next World Cup song and she came up with song “ La la la” and she was actually asked again to do the official song for the World Cup in 2022 but she declined.

I think your next Shakira song has got to be _“She Wolf”_ Lol It was actually the first thing I’ve ever heard from her, the music video for it would play really late at night/early morning (like the 2am-5am range) on what I wanna say was MTV… I was probably in middle school at the time. Lol I remember being so confused by it but also had to watch it it’s entirely every time they played it. (For very obviously reason you’ll quickly learn upon watching it… with me being middle school boy and all. Lmao)
