I saw him at the Ritz in Raleigh with his full band, this dude is so charismatic its insane. He cracked jokes the entire show and had everyone stomping there feet and dancing. I've been to a lot of shows, this one took the cake. Throw your money at this man he deserves it

This is sooo different than the original recording... it got like, 100 times cooler. Not that it wasn't cool before, but the dynamics he uses are so brilliant.

Shakey Graves is so phenomenal. It would be a dream to sing with him someday like Esme. This is the kind of music that moves you and stays with you wherever you go. Ps. This is my dog's favortite song. He dances aroynd shaking his tail and behind. He gets very excited whenever it plays and we dance together 😂❤

That is INSANE that you can hear him singing two separate notes, an octave apart, at 3:04. Maybe it's some electronic effect, idk, but that long note just sounded absolutely massive

I believe its an open string hes playing by letting it ring as he's hitting the high pitch with his voice his guitar covers the low notes of the chord he's making with different instruments. This is my educated guess not 100% sure. Polyphonics is possible but thats usually done with like throat singing its hard to tell if he's using his throat with that note

Given old mates comment two above me, it’s probably his throat. The croakyness is somewhat reminiscent of throat singing, could explain the double note.
