This piece, "Shakespeare", choreographed by Sawyer Player, is inspired by the melodrama of performance art/theater. Motifs were created by studying mimes, jesters, and other thespian tropes. The dancers were asked to explore their humanity, and bounce between intentionally over-acting and being sincere.
