Shaker Cabinet Doors with A Beveled Edge Design DIY
Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль
In this video I will show you how to make your own DIY shaker doors. The method I use is simple and easy to make and even if you wanted to upgrade your plain doors and convert them to shaker style doors then this video will help you with that project. I have made previous videos on shaker doors however this version introduces a different design incorporating a slight bevel on the inside edge.

Thanks for watching 👍
Excellent video. Clear, concise instructions. Exactly what I was looking for so I could match my IKEA cabinets to a cabinet I bought at Lowe's for my laundry room. Thanks so much for posting!

Question- how do you hide the lip between the rails/styles and the back panel? I saw that you zoomed in on it and it showed that small gap - you don’t think it will be too noticeable? I ask because I am looking at building a set kind of like this for some large bookshelves in the kids playroom, but we want to sell soon/eventually and don’t want it to look too rough…. Thanks so much for the video! Can’t believe you posted it just eight hours before I looked this up lol

I don't have too much trouble with the edges so long as you prepare them well for paint. Any small gaps of course fill them up with a filler then undercoat really well, 2-3 coats if necessary sanding in between coats then once you apply your top coat of what ever you are using it should be nice and smooth and not showing any join between the top 6mm strips and base. Hope this helped and good luck with your project.👍
