the author does like to from scratch, shaping and trimming wood from large blocks into fine finished products. kzread.infoUgkxD-QRFQz730FJEh4f9BYSf-nkIMIC9hL_ as another reviewer mentioned, most projects require a lot of high-dollar equipment that most of us dont have the room or budget for. But, knowing how to do these things, even if we wont be able to practice the full stack project, is still great.

If you can't afford the tools go buy the crap they sell at Home Depot or Lowes. Stop complaining about the price of tools; I get so tired of hearing the complaints as if they equipment should be free.

I don't understand what you're saying. You could build this project with less than $250 worth of tools: - cheap/used table saw - cheap/used router - DIY router table - router bits (only $20!) - clamps - sand paper With only basic skills you only need a table saw bringing the tools cost down to $150 or less if you're thrifty.

Built a lot of panel doors but never thought of making both rails and both stiles at the same time and then separating them. I added dust collection to my router table and made a world of difference in cleanup and breathability. :-) Great video and great lesson. I particularly liked using the jointer for cleanup. Now I can build my vanity doors with greater ease and accuracy. Thank you. I subscribed in the first 2 minutes.

I appreciate deeply your reminder about "BE SAFE". It is very important professionals keep pushing this idea, to lead a solid, consistent change in our approach to woodworking. Beginners look these videos and it's a key moment to decide which habits to take: if fast & furious or proper & safe. Those habits will stay potentially forever. There are still lots of experienced workers around cheating with safety… and accidents keep on happening.

Wes nice job! You are one of a few woodworkers that mill the styles and rails first and then cut them apart. I always make my styles and rails 2" so a 1"x6" works perfect leaving less than an inch of waste but sure makes the milling much safer. That jointer trick is amazing!
