I recently went to an expo and someone was selling dark charcoals mixed with lilly white for only $250 and had a huge sign saying "NOT Cappuccinos!" 😂 I loved her honesty.

That gecko is beautiful regardless, shame on the people that sold it though, you did good and it will be better of with you either way. Thanks for the info!

So sorry this happened . That’s so naughty of him. There is a lot of spitefulness among breeders ,some are jealous of each other. Their like it in the UK their probably no different where you are . It’s a beautiful gecko . That pattern on the tail is beautiful. Their genes are crazy ain’t they . I guess that’s how new types are made. You could of pretended it was a cappuccino yourself and lied about its linage, I had someone lie about linage to me with a chewie . Your obviously very honest !!!! Good on you man 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

I've never heard of people buying wholesale gecko's. I'm curious as to how that works? Are they buying just random wild caught cresties and breeding them out? Or are these cresties from breeders trying to "move product" because they have too many? Also, if I could make a video request I'd love to know how you made your shelving tanks!

Wholesale is what petco does. Some breeders hatch out 2k babies a DAY. So they sell them for 5 dollars a piece (extreme example) but that's $10k a day that they sell to big pet stores to sell to people for 50 dollars as pets

Imma be honest, if the gecko looks nice and its at a decent price, imma buy it. At the end of the day for somebody who just likes keeping em as pets it does not matter what genes it has so long as it looks appealing to you. Personally dont like regular caps, to me they look like less colorful Halloweens so I wouldn't even pay 100 for it if it was one. Id rather spend 70 on the cute baby Halloween. Now the fraps on the other hand, those id pay a pretty penny for.

In a local expo, a 20k proven cap next to a 200 nice halloween isnt gonna sell. Until the market for a gene essentially crashes enough to be affordable to work with its not really worth investing in unless your a large breeder.

The rumors are true you’re a drama queen, I know the guy that sold it and the guy that bought it I tried buying it and it was sold as a dark gecko it was literally on Morph market for a while. People would do anything for some attention I swear🤣 personally if anyone reached out about a gecko that I had sold to someone else I would not even reply none of their business.
