They also have traits like resisting ground and fighting which are excellent. However, the bug type is still under powered, and could use a few buffs here and there.

In that case, is he a Psychic Dark type? I can imagine that being a pretty decent typing. You’re now neutral to dark, you cover against ghost and fighting, have stab on some good moves, but you’re 4x weak to bug.

Well, he was immune to a Psychic attack, so he's definitely part dark.... And since he's not a duel type normally, there's no reason for the Psychic typing to go..... just yet.

@@connortg5 there's good bug type moves all over the place, like say u turn and signal beam, and some decent bug type pokemon, some of which have seen spotlight in competive, that's a massive downside.
