23 years old and I never fully understood whether the Moon's tilt was constant throughout the year, or whether the orbit of the moon 'wobbled'. A great explanation.

Why is the shadow of the moon during a solar eclipse only 170 miles on the surface of the earth? How big is the moon?

2:10 Keep that same tilt throughout the year? I thought it was half the year and the tilt changes!

Correct, you would need a rather massive force to change the Moons orbit , the effects would probably be catastrophic for us on Earth.

Whatever .......there is still a tilt that explains what we see.

No. The tilt stays fairly constant, but after 6 months we're halfway through our orbit, so the tilt goes from being towards the sun to being away from the sun.
