10 year old me didn't know about johnsons offering jobs until I went to some other neighborhoods using the cabs. So I just did what any kid would do, sold my gear to get Michael's stuff back. Seeing Gyre doing the exact same thing for this run made me chuckle a bit.

To me this was the superior shadowrun game of the snes and genesis generation.

I'm a bit late to the party, but Harlequin does appear in Shadowrun Returns.

Thanks for posting this, I didn't know about the tiers of data stores 1 being the lowest and 7 being the highest.

@ about 9 mins how does that glitch work to be able to access the cpu without changing it from the color gray?

No Greyhawk is the default setting of D&D

I like this game quite a bit.

@@matsujonen ive played through the SNES version when I was a kid and really liked it, never tried this one. She's version is my only real exposure to the Shadowrun universe bar a very small amount of some of the recent ones

This is more accurate to the rules imo, and the matrix is way better. I’ve beaten this dozens of times.

the snes is a cheep spy novel convenversion. you even get the girl at the end. Snes would have worked better on a pc and been an adequate game (ignoring all the lore contradictions and fudding) on the pc but it was limited by the feathered-serpent-awful courser combat.

after many. MANY MANY power level play throughs. many normal runs. two 'get everyone to lore power' runs. the best class is Shaman. get all your majik. get the lvl 4 foci (side with Yakuza), get heavy power armor. get 3 ranks wired reflexes. still have 1 point ov essence and now cast spells at twice the speed ov other casters. get the Merlin rank 4 foci. now shoot faster than a wired samurai. hire a temp decker if you need on. better yet Mars into a decker. 4 muscle replacements, data jack, 3 dermal plates. focus on melee. he will punch everything to death before speed mage can cast fast..... and the troll is a hacker. best way to play. prove me wrong!

close... its ABBACAB, start (file selection) Start press up. hit c. c (then varies if you want fast run, contracts, NuYen or Karma) not that its ingrained in my mind or annything

I grunted far too loudly when I saw the genesis version was getting a run

Wow, the sound effects hit me in the nostalgia pretty hard...

This gsme seems so complicated compared to the snes version

to answer the question about if you can/will vote for BigD in 2032.... not to get too much into lore and backstory but if you are outside ov slc proper you would have either relocated to east ov the Mississippi after the treaty ov Denver or been rounded up to one ov the smaller anglo reservations unless you converted to Mormonism in which case you would be relocated to the SLC reservation. if you are in slc then you are a anglo reservation/free city ov the UCAS meaning if you are a SINner, are free ov debt, have a job but are not permanently employed and housed at an AAACorporation's sovereign land, and have citizenship you can vote in the election but you likely wont see any direct effects other than news feed videos as most ov your political situation is controlled by (at 2nd edtion timeline Ute nation latter editions the Pueblo Corporate Council). if you happen to be on one ov the smaller unnamed anglo reservations scattered around the NAN than you have to deal with the local Native politics which due to your blood you have no say in. no matter the case voting in real life (or SR) has any effect. the world is ran by the AAAcorps so voting at best will decide what soychoco bar brand you will be buying for the next 4-8 years.

@Help Me take out the orks and majik and they blatently ripped off Shadowrun. there is more shadowrun in cyber punk 2077 then ehre are bugs. tl;dr... dont preorder. the corps are cunts in real life and fantasy. thats why SR is so amazing. it mirrors and morphs reality and you get to fight back against the injustice just a little bit.

I prefer the SNES game, but this is neat.

the game play was great, story was great, but it saddens me to see how they handled jake armitage, making him a shaman/decker/samurai. that's not how shadowrun works :|
