@@nicolasvergne757 I don't think it was poorly told, when you think about which elements were included in the vision and show for first-time watchers, and Ahsokas journey as a whole for longer time watchers, the messaging is clear. But it isn't literally spelled out, and I think we're all so used to the 'dumbed down' stories where you always have a character voice *exactly* what they just learned that people are forgetting to think when they see thins one.

She’s like the first reactor that understood Anakin’s final lesson. She was stuck on the past and the fear of making mistakes and failing. He was trying to show/remind her that it’s ok to make mistakes. When she still wasn’t listening, he pulled out Darth Vader to do the trick. He made possibly the biggest mistake in the history of the galaxy, and was still redeemed in the end. If she wasn’t going to understand that, she was beyond help… there’s always a way forward as long as she keeps fighting.

"One is never too old to learn, snips". He was 45 when he died. Ahsoka is 47. To me, the lesson he was teaching her was the difference between surviving and living. It was the last lesson he learned, from Luke, when he was her age. From the moment he betrayed Ahsoka, she's been surviving, and her purpose, her conviction, gone. She's got no friends, family or companions around her, no attachment, just as a Jedi should be. But Ahsoka is no Jedi, and like Anakin said he's now passed on the final lesson he learned to her, even what he learned in his final moments. And then as he's smiling and remembering about his last lesson by Luke, she says, "I won't fight you" and he chuckles, because that's also what Luke said to him before that last fight. When his heart was full of rage and darkness that fight is what brought him back. So he turns on his lightsaber, and gets ready to pass that on to her. You live, truly live, or you die just like he did when he became Vader. Just surviving is as good as death. At least that's my take on it.

People keep forgetting that George Lucas was still making the decision back when clone wars came out. He was the reason Maul was brought back when meanwhile everybody called him insane especially Filoni & then he did it & went to everyone after & said see he was right. It’s the reason Filoni decided to kill off Maul for no reason whatsoever in rebels when he had so much more to give. Lucas was also the reason that clone wars was made because he waited many years after the original trilogy because he wanted to create Anakin’s story but said it would take too much time & cgi wasn’t as advanced as it is today, so he waited to make the prequels then he wanted to make an animated show so that he could use the smaller budget more wisely to expand his story. Lucas hasn’t been involved with most of the new stuff which is why most of the new stuff just feel … different. He’s supposedly been on set for this show though

It's revealed padawan as young as 12 years old (Cal Kestis from SW Fallen Order/Survivor) were sent to war and like others have already commented both the Jedi order and the Republic legalized the use of child soldiers like it was the norm (let alone the ethical implications of the Clones), just goes to show the Galaxy was rotten before Sidious came to power.

6:13 that is Hera’s actual biological son. His father was Kanan Jarrus: a human jedi that survived Order 66 and was one of the main characters in Rebels (alongside her, Sabine, Ezra, Ahsoka, the dude named Zeb, and Chopper). Edit: Just went back and watched it. I can see they only had 1 kid.

Anakin was trying to teach Ahsoka to let go of her pain and fault thinking that her walking away from the Jedi and Anakin caused the fall to the dark side. She's become more cautions and cynical as you've seen in the earlier episodes after rumours of Thrawn. She also was a bit more pessimistic and lacking 'hope.' Anakin is trying to show her to let go of her guilt for him, the Order and that his GOOD parts of his legacy are what she incorporates and he passes down, not his legacy of pain and destruction and violence as Vader, so she disassociates from him because of WHO he became. And he is showing her her first and last CW battles to show how far she came and how she took on the best of him in the situations when he wasn't around - hence letting go of him and her guilt. How she was so guilty of the deaths of the Clones in the first mission to how she let go of death and became a commander during the Siege of Mandalore. She still carries the guilt of the Clones lost, and Anakin's, after walking away from the Jedi Order she still feels that it was a mistake when in fact it was the right thing to do. Cere Junda in Jedi Survivor game said it best to Cal Kestis: CERE: Cal - You're still struggling with the dark side. Even after cutting yourself off from the Force Cere - We will always struggle. But that IS the test. This is THE episode. Exceeds The Rescue from Mando IMO and as great as the Andor Series episodes and Andor Finale. This episode is the best SW content post Original trilogy ever made because it honours CW, Rebels and the Originals.

Hera is Jacen biological mom. She and Kanan were in a relationship. Remember there were no more Jedi orders so no one followed the stupid Jedi order rules and law after order 66. Kanan was Ezra and Sabina master as well. Mostly Ezra. But he did train Sabin with Darksaber when she had it for a while before giving it to Bo katan.

Not sure why he looks more human, but he is her son. He was introduced in the last episode of Rebels. And he does have the green hair. Again he is her legit son.

Nothing against other actors/actresses who use lightsabers in fight scenes but honestly Hayden is the best, he makes it look like he's practiced it all his life and second nature or as it he's really striking whereas others make it look like it's a two step choreograph. From the deleted scenes in revenge of the sith as well. Only one to come close is Christopher Lee
