Of all the former Sonic villains, Black Doom is one of the last ones I expected to make a comeback. While I did not care for the story in Shadow the Hedgehog, I'm hopeful to see what they do with him.

​@@dolomite1067For me, Shadow in Forces reminds me a lot of Amy in Frontiers. Both their characters were certainly improved, but instead of being outwardly annoying, they've kinda just gone to being not much of anything. They're on the right track, but I think more still needs to be done.

It does look like Sonic Team will be involved since on their website it has the sonic team logo. And it would make a lot of sense, in the shadow section it felt very connected to the modern boosting with it's animations and visual style. Even if the shadow levels are not perfect let's just take a moment to express that after YEARS we have official HD assets for Biolizard, Black doom, final rush and westopolis? Fans are going to be COOKING with these assets to use!

I think you nailed the head with the problem with this showcase and kinda PS problem in general. Not a lot of new stuff to look forward to, plus strange ports that feel more like padding between releases rather than upgrades. And if that rumored Horizon Zero Dawn remake is true than this is doubly a bad time for pointless PS4 remakes.

Oh fug me I JUST found out Penny was referencing the first Death Stranding with that line, turns out she’s quoting something a character said in that game. I haven’t beaten the first Death Stranding yet so that line went over my head and without context sounded incredibly off when paired with what was happening on screen.
