It’s supposed to be like that the developers said agro and just in general it’s meant to be hard all the way through from the movement mechanics to finding the bosses weak spots.

At times the controls are downright awful , shame because it's such an amazing game in almost every other aspect but it just doesn't feel as amazing to play as the way it presents itself

Oh, just dodge the fireballs. Easier said than done on hard when they have crazy splash radius and deal stupid damage. Still though, good guide!

Hardest part for me Is definitely actually getting onto his back

Same I kept knocking it down and when I climbed up, the camera kept flipping out when I tried to jump on his back and that gave him enough time to flip over again. Took me almost 30 minutes to beat this thing

But this was almost made me rage-quit because: - slow and does not move how it should - the timing of the gaysirs is a pain to coordinate - the fireballs almost always hit, no matter how quick I move Pain in the ass if you want to fight it again for better time.

These fireballs are pissing me off! How are you supposed to dodge them, they still get you no matter what! I tried it with Agro, but his controls are the worst. You need to press 300 times to get him running and it's so annoying. It works, but it's so frustrating!😡😡

i've got one tip for you: if you want to start sprinting as soon as you get on agro, just pull back on your left joystick and push the triangle button at the same time. you have to time it correctly, tho! (this also works for getting agro to stop instantly) edited 'cause of a typo :)

Worst boss in the game. Easily. Not only you have to wait FOREVER the fireballs have massive hitboxes and this thing sometimes just decides to not walk at all

It was so easy after watching the video. Took me forever trying to find a place to climb cause that earth shaking tip didn't made sense lol

Don't ask me how I did it, I got on it's tail and jumped on his lower back from there. I didn't even do the geiser thing. I saw his paw glowing and got him on the geiser but he didn't seem to react. I figured I cheesed it.

Agro doesn't want to move when I call him istg

Use Agro and shoot the arrows until the colossus is under a gazer (idk) then get under the colossus and dodge the earth shakes and wait until it happens 👍 thanks for the tip👍

You have the best walkthrough for this game

I think even knowing what exactly to do it is VERY HARD. In the ps2 version i climbed his leg but didnt realize you could run and jump and grab onto his belly which didnt look furry/fuzzy like the other bosses. In this video on i guess the remake, the belly has a very distinctly different surface, so if retro gamers are playing on ps2 be mindful of that!

I clambered onto that fucking thing like 10 times to be thrown off and not to be able to cling to an edge. So far the most frustrating.

the fireballs shouldve just been eliminated from the Colossi since you cant even see where its shooting from while on the horse..I mean its not impossible to see but its damn difficult to check the fire balls and see which geiser to aim for only to have the water stop when the colossi is over it...they did a terrible job on this one.

I've never had an easy boss make me annoyed but damn, his projectiles were undodgeable for me and he refused to go where I wanted but literally as soon as I went onto his back the fight was over.

It doesn't shoe its weak spot on bottom of its feet if I miss it the first time

I'm having the exact same problem right now. All the previous Bosses weren't too hard or annoying but this one is specifically desiged to be a massive pain in the arse! I'm so close to Quitting the game over it even though I don't want to as I've gotten this far it would be a shame to quit now... Fuck...

This is the worst colossus in my opinion, the other ones can be bested with skill while for this one you must wait until it perfectly lines up with a geyser while being shot at hoping not to die in the process

Idk if you ever got it but if not, you have to get on his head when he flips back over and make sure your sword is out or it won't show up.

Worst fight up to now, just stupid. The fact that this one only has one major weak spot shows the devs knew it sucked

probably the worst and most frustrating colossus in the game. It's so poorly designed. Took me 27 minutes to beat it because it just wouldn't stand on the geyser properly, or the geyser would shut off just as it's about to tilt.

I love this game, but my God Colossi IX and XII are ASS
