Amazing game, also one of the best soundtracks of all time.

My only complaint is that the forbidden lands look too crispy clear in here. I know the overwhelming amount of fog and darkness in the original was also used to hide imperfections and only highlight the best visuals (wich is why that 2004 game looked like it was released in 2010). But regardless of the intent it really added a lot to the atmosphere and I feel that is missing here. Other than that it was a great job.

I'm kind of in love with this game

I'm kinda upset that they changed with Celosia how the music goes dead silent when you knock him off the cliff. It was really epic how the second you landed on his back the music kicked into a different and more somber tone as well. Oh well, still, aside from the little tiny things here and there, I adore what they've done with this game!!!!!!

is it just me or what but the old PS2 version was kinda harder like most colossus more active when I tried to stab them. or maybe just because the control was shitty back then. should try to play the ps4 version too. nice breakthrough tho, good job bro. it brings back memories!

Why they didn't make wander to more tired and dirty and hes cloth more teared up like the original ps2 version, also he depth of field is missing.

I think there is a problem about video-audio synchronization after 2-2,5 hours.

Is it me or do the controls suck really really bad, tried making the jump at the third collosi at least 8 times and just go into the water.to try yet again.

Is it just me, or does the audio glitch and loop after the fight around 3:00:00 ? It's very persistent, too, continuing for at least 10 minutes.

Do you think you can edit in the fight with Malus the last Colossus? Everyone really wants to see that fight and it would be a crime for them to not see the final fight. Wouldn't you agree?

They did a fantastic job in re-skinning the whole game but there are details which the original did best. For example Wander's face in the original definitely resemble a boy, in the remake he looks like a girl. I can nitpick little things but definitely one of the best remake since RE1. If you never picked up this game before, you should because this game is a masterpiece.

I mean the game feels a bit empty when you are watching it rather than when it is played firsthand, but I have always thought that the excitement of overcoming each colossi was quite the treat. Mix that thrill with the exploration of this mysterious and seemingly boundless valley and it sets the game up to be quite fulfilling (imo of course). I do understand why it may seem monotonous, but SotC has its specific approach that it holds to and I have always appreciated that about the game. When I was younger I always thought there ought to be mini bands of enemies strewn throughout the valley that you would have to engage on horseback. But, the task of searching out each colossus contributes to the specific style of the game and I think to add features such as combat against smaller foes would interrupt that established rhythm. A couple of things you can do as a sort of break from the usual game cycle is hunt white-tailed lizards for extra stamina and gather fruit from trees that will provide you with some extra health. Additionally, with enough stamina you can attempt to climb to the top of the main temple; at the top there is a small garden to explore and you can cross the giant bridge on foot.

I’ve been playing for a fucking hour trying to find the second colossus what am I doing wrong!?!

What's the point in calling it part 1 if it's god damn near 4 fucking hours long? Maybe edit your shit better and maybe you could call it part one. There are 16 colossi so there should be 16 parts.
