In MW3, when u are covering the Deltas using AC 130, there is a helmet camera feed that shows explosion on where you shoot, its a cool detail that exist back then

we couldn't hear them through radio but on cod4 radio wasn't always on I remember that. they were doing push to talk.

This mission is feel like a tribute to AC-130 mission in *COD4* . I love it :)

@@nier133 played it last night The first half was horrible because of those random civilians that dies and you get forced to restart from a checkpoint It's the second half that gets better where you can start rampaging God so many checkpoints restarts because a single round hit a building and shit

After watching plenty of real AC-130 footage it’s amazing how accurate this is.

Anyone wondering "Why dont they always use AC 130 close air?" It can be easily shot down by even a few relatively cheap manpads. This is a rare instance where they fight cartel who dont have access to SAM anti air.

The cartel IRL actually do have some forms of anti-air. Mexican authorities discovered cartels with FIM-43 Redeyes and IIRC even FIM-93 Stingers.

Fun fact: The Mexican Army is the only enemy units we fought in MWII that isn't consider an Organization. (Like the Cartels, Shadows, Russian PMCs, and Al-Qatala) Though you could say that this MA battalion are rogues since they were paid by the Cartel.

This level is a reference to the original level from COD 4 where you control an AC130 but this one is much more harder

The funny thing about your comment is that most CIA PMC or military hired PMC work on an anonymous scale. Most PMC operate with a level of already being nonexistent. Meaning that most PMC do not have a life outside of work with social media, public activities, and etc. It's very difficult to ever track a PMC unless he/she reveals themselves to the public since the CIA/US Government would be jeopardize as well.

To be fair does Mexico even have a government at this point, Joking a side its likely that the Militart shown here are traitors to the Mexcan Government as they work for a Cartel so it gets a pass somewhat, still its weird they let the PMC get to use an AC-130 which is kind of hilarious and dumb but I guess they wanted an excuse to have an AC-130 level in a COD game but can't really put it anywhere appropriate

Absolutely loved it. The only thing that bugged me is that the friendlies are way too close to the line of fire.

Most unrealistic part of this is that cartel members would continue fighting knowing that they're getting blown up from the sky

I got a buddie that was in special forces an he was running an op looking for a hvt. They were essentially on a run and gun mission and encountered some enemies sitting at them from windows and behind brick walls. They called a danger close strike and he said the AC130 went to letting off. He said they were maybe 30 yards from where the contacts where and the building walls just started exploding. He said all the guys had pieces of brick and rock stuck in in their faces and everything. The whole story was intense asf

Cool to see this mission play through with no real issues My first playthrough, I had to restart from the menu because the audio stopped working Then, my console crashed halfway through THEN I got to finish it, then restarted because it was so fun (PS4)

Bullets like that would tear you in half. COD needs to grow its balls again.

The explosions and damage are next level, each one is a little different depending on what's being blown up, add in the shockwave and it's almost perfect, the generic explosions and damage would always kill the realism for me, I was really hoping you would have put a shell into the pool on the mansion, just to see if they had gone the extra mile with that too, a cool water explosion would have looked amazing, I bet they did put the effort in to make that visually appealing too you know, they need to bring a game out just for the AC130 Gun ship
