是什麼限制了你的可能性?| Sadhguru(薩古魯)

Most humans, Sadhguru says, never walk full stride, but take only half-steps due to the fear of suffering. If you go against the natural aspiration to be as much as you can be simply out of fear, then the immense possibility of being human is lost. He discusses inner management and how to handle thoughts and emotions.

Notes: If you try to control the various situations that may pop out tomorrow morning, all that will happen is you will have a very limited life. And you will step into the world and promise that whatever needs to be done, only if you have insurance, no matter what you’re walking to, you’ll not lose yourself. You will walk full-straight, otherwise, you will be an only-half step. Most human beings are only half-step, because of the fear of suffering that if this happens, what will happen to me, and if that happens, what will happen to me. If you are well-managed within yourself, you know how to manage your thoughts, you know how to manage your emotions, and you know how to manage your body, your chemistry, and your energy. If you don’t know how to manage all these, what does it matter if you go to hell? And if you’re well-managed, there is a Heaven within what does it matter where you go? The hell is also an interesting place to go If you’re ill-managed, then you‘ll want to be in a good place all the time, you won’t step out into anything. I’m not saying that this is wrong, but this is against nature, isn’t it? Because in nature, every life is aspiring to be as much as can be, isn’t it?. Everything is naturally aspiring, it’s not a philosophy. It’s not an ideology that you must you do this and do that. It’s natural and intrinsic for every life, that you do as much as you can. From an earthworm, an insect, a bird, and an animal to a tree, every one of them is trying to be full-fledged (完全發展). And if you go against, simply because of the fear of suffering, then all possibilities of exploring the nature of being human, the tremendous immensity, of being human will just be lost among humanity. Today you will see everywhere, when people say, “ I’m only human”, they’re talking about thel imitation of being human, they‘re not talking about the possibilities of being, isn’t it? If we’re the most intelligent species on the planet, and if we’re the most capable species on the planet, should we keep talking about the possibilities, or limitations? When anybody writes or talks about “ We’re human”, they‘re always referring to the limitations, but never to the possibilities of being human. This is because the most fundamental things have not been taught in our education systems as to how to handle your thoughts and your emotions, and your psychological drama has gone out of control, which is a badly directed drama, you believe me. If it’s a well-directed drama, you’ll take it to the conclusion that you want, isn’t it so? Because it is a bad-directed drama, just anybody can take control of it. And who is the director of your psychological drama? .Just about anybody, isn’t it? And anybody can make it into tragedy. Because people have not even learned to manage their thoughts and emotions, so by the time when you are 10, you should have learned it. When 60, people still don’t know how to manage their thoughts and emotions. They live on the [planet like ghosts in their lives, and they don’t need anyone’s help. They can go on creating endless suffering for themselves. Suppose now you don’t know how to handle them, it’s just like that you have normal a hand and you do not know how to use it, what will you call yourself? No. You tell yourself. You don’t have to tell me. It’s okay. Whatever you think, If you have a normal process of mental faculty, and you don’t know how to use it, it means the same thing, isn’t it so? And if you don’t have a normal hand, then you can’t use it well, and that’s a different thing, and we will look at you compassionately But you have a normal hand, and you don’t know how to use it, whatever word you use to call yourself, you don’t have to tell me. But the same thing goes if you don’t know how to use your thoughts and emotions towards your wellbeing. Simply because of the ill-managed the fundamentals of life are not grasped about “ What’s the nature of my life”? If you don’t know this, how do you manage it? It’s only when you grasp the nature of something, then you learn to manage it by its nature, If you don’t even see what it is, how do you manage it? There is no way to manage it. Therefore, the first and foremost is why it’s called realization. You must understand this. In India and its culture, we never refer to any kind of spiritual realization as attainment, and we only say that it’s realization, which means that you simply see what’s already there. You do not invent anything in realization. You didn’t climb up to the top of the mountain. You begin to see everything just the way it is. But it becomes such a reality that has been honored and valued. Someone was asking 3 days ago, and he said, “Sadhguru, you seem to know everything”. Then I said, “ There is one thing that I know. I know this one thing, from its origin to its ultimate”. (我只知道[自己],從源頭至其終極目的)
