I got two SH Monsterarts figures back in 2017, the 1995 Godzilla (birth version) and the 2004 Gigan. They aren't as easy to find here in the UK, but I saw this go up for pre-order and jumped on it. Gigan is my favourite Kaiju, the Showa version is my favourite look for him, so I'm really happy with this figure. Like you said it really captures the look of the suit, the 2004 version is a bit stylised to me, at least the build and proportions, this new one really captures that look of a person in a suit. I ended up liking it so much that it sent me down a rabbit hole and I ended up backtracking to get the SH Monsterarts Hedorah, both awesome figures. Not sure how much further I'll go with these figures given how pricey they are, the 1954 Godzilla is getting a rerelease in January but I do still like my NECA version, but man that 1972 Godzilla is so tempting to get as an accompanying piece for Gigan (I would be all over a Showa Ghidorah and Anguirus though).

I dont understand why they used the see through joints for the sails? I've tried ot use those for customs, the ball joints are fine, but the sockets are weak as hell. Good job on the space chicken, yeah i always thought he was blue because most of the time hes blue!!!

Why not compare the Neca 64?? There’s only one person on the internet I’ve seen do that comparison. It’s the one that makes the most sense until Soshingeki comes out.

I’m scared to buy him even though I’ve very gentle with my monster arts the scary part is the dorsal fins

The INFERIOR Gigan figure 120 bucks No accessories Easy to break Yet another case where Monsterarts jacks up the price for a figure that isn't worth the price. - It cant do the flight mode because we don't get folded up wings or a flight stand. they could have also given us an alternative head for the flight mode - The wings themselves are on the TINIEST balljoints that are easy af to snap - No buildings/power plant, No fighter jets, No lazer effect part - 120 bucks at release. Kiryu was that much and he comes with a crap ton of accessories. Moguera was 70 and is a contender for most accessories on a Monsterarts
