Hes probably my favorite Godzilla villain behind King Ghidorah

It makes sense that he doesn't come with an effects piece. He never used his forehead laser blaster in the Showa Era. But a spinning abdominal buzz saw would've been appropriate.

Gigan is easily one of my top three favorite MonsterArts figures in my collection. If you wiggle the buzzsaw to loosen it you can get it to move up and down a bit.

The buzzsaw may not rotate but it does jiggle up and down just a little.

I'm not to beat up about the lack of effects. To be fair, Gigan didn't have any beams in his movie apperances. Though, I hope those tight shoulders you mentioned aren't a common issue. Joints that are too tight make me nervous.

You out here doing the lords work buying two figures to confirm QC issues. You a real one!!!

Wow awesome Gigan figure I'm definitely going to buy it for Christmas this is going to be my gift.

Yep, preordered Gigan on BBTS and I'm okay waiting for him to be released. But yeah the wings do concern me, still I'll be careful with them for sure.

Sh Monsterarts should make a ebirah and gabara, ebirah should come with a rock and a stand for the rock, and gabara should mostly have expressive hands, like thumbs up, pointing (like laughing at something) punching hands, open hands, and a hand that has a electricity effect part ( maybe even a middle finger XD )

I’m so into the Gabara idea, especially with all those hand mold ideas 😂 definitely not a popular monster but with all the potential add ons and effects I’d say the collectors would enjoy it, I know I would

Now that SHMA Soshingekigoji is out, these two pair incredibly well. I picked up both and they really feel made for each other, I want to make a display of the power plant fight from the movie to put them both in

Great figure. The only issue I have woth mine is a crooked jaw 😑

This may be one of the best SH Figuarts they've released. I was not into the price but honestly, this is top tier. I don't think they could do a better Gigan.

The showa Gigan didn't really show any special effect so my guess is that's why.

ABSOLUTELY FAAANTASTIC

My only complaints are the lack of anything besides the figure. No Eye Beam effect? No movie related terrain add ons? I mean the old Revoltech one had an oil tank and refinery pieces. At half the price. This thing is priced the same as the most expensive SH Figuarts. With less plastic, engineering and accessories. Why Bandai?

One of the highlight releases of modern SH Monsterarts in my opinion, I just wish the wings felt better to handle. I’m not referring to the joints, it’s that the wings themselves feel awful to handle.

How much time does it take for anime export to arrive it has been 5 days and I ordered the 5 day one (just a doubt)

As long as its a unique monster. It can look as crazy as it needs to. I don't like big versions of regular everyday creatures, like King Kong.

Despite not coming with any accessories, Gigan turned out, as you would say, absolutely fantastic! The sculpt is so good, he looks like he just walked off the screen. Those wings are definitely delicate. I've only moved them once and that's it, don't plan on messing with them because I don't want to risk that too small joint wearing over time and snapping. With last year's Hedorah, and Gigan this year, Tamashii Nations have been killing it with Showa releases. I really hope we get a Megalon for his 50th.

I think that is a matter of which design you like better. Both figures are fantastic.

7:29 While this does look cool and all, it's nor accurate. Showa Gigan never used a laser beam aside from poster, comics and games. He never used it until Final Wars came, although the laser beam fired from his visor rather than the beam lamp.

What if we got megalon so we can have gigan and megalon

I'm personally not that much of a fan of this figure and Gigan overall, though it does look neat.
