世界恬靜落來的時 When the World Rests at Night
When the sun goes down and night comes around, peace and quiet returns to the world. You could hear the night winds howl and see the stars shimmer in the dark. Such a restful night gives voice to one’s thoughts. For me, thoughts of longing for you come unbidden. I recall those days when we would hold hands and take a walk on a trail, following the fireflies that light up the farm tracks. The bamboo forest, the hills and the murmuring creek, all shrouded in the mist, beckoned us to relish in the quiet of the night.
世界恬靜落來的時
就是思念出聲的時
窗仔外的風陣陣地嚎
天頂的星閃閃啊熾
世界恬靜落來的時
我置醒過來的暗暝想起著你
我置睏未去的暗暝想起著你
想起咱牽手行過的小路
　　火金姑提燈照過的田墘
　　竹林、茫霧和山埔
猶有輕聲細說的溪水
世界恬靜落來的時
