Yeah I agree he's the most evil out of them Mark 2nd but Johnny would have been my last guess to be Bowser. Guy's the nicest male let's player I know.

What I wish they had done was keep the car for just Bowser Party, but also have the old play style for normal party mode.

I think normal party mode should come back, but also have the cart mechanic as another option with its own boards for both Bowser Party and regular party modes. Everybody wins.

Bowser: "FINE! If you won't invite me, I'll just make my OWN party! Yeah! A BETTER one! With food, better games, and hookers! Know what? Forget the hookers! And YOU ALL are not invited!" And then Wario, Yoshi, and Rosalina crashes Bowser's Party. Bowser: "What!? Who invited YOU jerkoffs? Huh? SPIKE!? That's IT! Come here-" And thus the game begins. :P

TomboyGamerGal That would also explain one reason why Bowser is never invited to the parties. He would bring hookers with him to 'liven up the party'. In which Mario would have to say 'N-no... no... Nintendo would tear up my million dollar contract, or worse, give it to WARIO or my brother, if hookers were at my party!'.

Well that's the point of the mode. Bowser is gonna try to fuck you raw and the team has to survive to the end. That's how it works essentially.

I have vowed to never play a Mario Party game after playing a 50 turn game of Mario Party 3. Me and my friends felt anger and dread unlike anything we had ever felt before.

LOL, every time it's Johnny's turn, he gets to catch up to everyone else. XD

I wanted the brothers to work together vs. Bowser. The teamwork would've been fucking real.

Matt yelling in that one mini-game was hilarious XD

While I do actually like Mario Party 9 (pretty rare to hear that, isn't it), I think the idea of everyone in a car works better in Bowser Party, since it's everyone against Bowser ( the way it's kinda always been). With luck, teamwork, luck, skill, luck, good timing, and most importantly, *luck*, you'll win Bowser Party even with the odds against you! Either that, or get completely owned by Bowser! Either way, have fun! :3

Oh god, Matt's taunting in Bowser's Bad Breath was so hilarious. And of course to quote Elliot, "Why is this a thing?!" XD

I know a lot of people have complained about the Mario Party 9 formula, how it sucks. But here is the thing: they had to something to change it after nine games, otherwise it would get horribly stale. Mario Party 8 showed signs of that, and I commend them for changing it up. Yes, many of us, including myself, initially either reacted mixed or negative. After playing MP9 some, I came to like this formula for a nice brisk buzz of Mario Party action. Plus the Bowser Party is awesome for the chance to show everyone why you don't mess with the Demon Koopa King. I feel that if they do a Mario Party 11, they should have four party Modes. The Car Party (MP9/MP10), Classic Party (MP1-8 + DS), Bowser Party, and Amiibo Party. With that said, I still miss the 8-player mode from MP7. I want that to come back. It would great chaotic fun.

DrakeSilver I dunno. When it comes to Mario 3, that's the dude I remember the best. Boomerang bros are just another hammer bro variant. Spike's like an original from Mario 3 that looks just weird enough to be recognizable.

AlluMan96 when i see Spike i remember him from either the new super mario bros games or from the Paper Mario series. In Mario 3 they appear in 1 stage... maybe 2 and it's not even a memorable one at that. Mario 3 milking? unlikely and they could have chosen way so many better things if they really wanted to milk it

I really hope they abandon that 4 player cart introduced in 9 in the next installment. It somehow made a luck based game even MORE luck based and annoying. It should be an alternate mode, not the main game.

Honest I don't mind 4 people on one kart or whatever you get on if it's Bowser Party. That makes the most sense to me seeing how it makes you actually work as a team to try and get away from Bowser and it does work well.

comicking428 have you played island tour it doesn't have the four player kart thing but it has items that send people back and switched their spots and I feel that worse because there's even more of a luck aspect because it's first to the end you could make it all the way to the boss at the end switch places with the person in last and they get the last hit in and win and you get last after being in first for the whole game

I think this is a really neat idea, but just not completely thought through well enough. Like, it's not completely busted in favour of Bowser, but stakes are definetly put at an advantage and there should've been a bit more balance tuning here to really make this a damn fun mode. either cut Bowser's dice to 3 or ommit the re-roll option (1 or the other), balance the existance of Bowser jr slots with hero-equivelant toad slots for instance to have negative effects on Bowser too, mabye start off with a little more hearts and there you go. It's still propably fun as long as everyone playing doesn't have sticks up their asses and know how to just laugh it over, but even I can admit that this shit can get mighty fucking obnoxious at times. Particularly with how easy it is for Bowser to catch you in relation to how much damage he does on a regular basis. At the very least, they finally did come up with a good way of using the car idea. It makes sense for all players to ride along the same track when everyone is working together against a common enemy. I'm not sure if this game has the car for the main party as well, but at least Bowser party takes good advantage of the idea.

I know I wasn't going to buy this game, but from watching this footage, it really just looks like an unfair fuckfest for anyone not playing Bowser. Plus, the Wiimote-only esque controls really aren't giving any positive vibes...

I'm not so certain. Johnny had to attack them every single turn, and he still only barely won. And this was with them failing pretty hard at the mini games and Johnny seeming familiar with them.

Kyle Dwight It IS painfully unfair to the four, Bowser has a massive advantage, if he takes out ONE player, its over, as thats 1 less die for them to roll, but bowser still has 4, if he takes out 2? then there is no coming back without supreme luck... and on that, if bowser doesnt roll high enough, he can re roll... AND if the 4 make it to the end, you dont win, you have to pick the star in a 33% chance guess game... my fucking god mario party 10 is terrible. Lets not forget, johnny went easy on them as bowser, if you focus on one player at a time, you will win 9/10 times. kill one, and the dominoes fall, thats one less die for them.

Give the players one die that goes 1-6 Give Bowser 4 of the same dice and let him re-roll This is how you make Mario Party uninteresting. Good Job Nintendo.

Hey, Bowser only gets one re-roll per turn, and he has to take whatever he rolls the second time, too.

So much fun being Bowser...where have I seen that before? (looks intently at Bowser's Inside Story) That was so fun.

Sgb and those of you wondering: Spike is one of the bosses/mini bosses from the previous game "Mario Party 9".

People keep talking about how "unbalanced" this is and how the game is completely in Bowser's favor... have any of you actually played the game? Because I don't about you but, whenever me and some friends play Bowser Party, the person playing as Bowser usually loses. We've only had one Bowser victory in the roughly 7-8 games we've played... and there were 2 games where Bowser almost never encountered the other players.

Wow I don't know what's shocking, the fact that they're playing this game or the fact that Johnny actually manage to buy this game, considering the amount of negative reviews & scores this game received. However this will be an interesting let's play for me since I've never seen anyone do a let's play of a modern Mario Party game before. (with the exception of GameGrumps's Mario Party 8 playthrough with both Jon & Dan)

Bowser won Mario Party 10. I'm not too surprised, and I was really hoping to see Team Mario win just so I could actually see the team win for once. I guess if Spike didn't decide to use a 1-3 block, you would've won, but no.

Fuck yes I literally hurt myself while jumping with joy seeing this in my subscriptions

I think I'm gonna leave love this game when I get it.

I played it with my friends, and we had a good time. Sure some of that was OH FUCK YOU BOWSER WE JUST NEEDED THAT NUMBER OH GOD HELP US WE NEED TO MOVE But we had a fun time, but that was us.

Even if Elliot made it to the end he still would've had to guess which of Bowsers 3 minions was hiding the star. So chances are he still would've lost anyways.

I notice that Rosalina doesn't like to touch the ground as she is mostly floating. I think Nintendo is playing up the fact that Rosalina is a goddess a lot in the games that she is in.

ANARCHY MODE is what Bowser Party is

Matt as Bowser, the horror.

Bowser Party seems like a good idea. An entirely different sort of board game, and it is an excuse to get to play as Bowser, which is always a plus. Also it allows for one player to dick with the others, which is always cathartic.

I love the concept of Bowser Party, but I think it still needs some balancing work. Maybe give Team Mario 8 hearts each rather than 6 would be a good place to start.
