Damnright! If I could have had any two players to play on request it'd be these two. Check out Nemo's Rolento in SFIV if you haven't seen it, utterly crazy

One of the best Grand Finals that I had ever had the pleasures of watching. I was rooting for Infiltration all the way throughout this LCQ and him showing how well he adapted to Menat and then using Juri (who's my main) vs Nemo was unfathomable how well he played against him. He was 3 games away of winnning it all and just flubbed at the end (or Nemo got used to the Juri match up and did "The nemo things" with Urien and clenched the win. It was between these two players that I picked in the LCQ to win it and I would've preferred to see Infiltration go against Punk (mainly because Punk said that he doesn't have any Menat experience and he lost pretty badly at WNF against him so that would've been a huge monkey wrench in the overall bracket of Capcom Cup). With that said..I'm very proud of Infiltration's games throughout all of this and I cannot wait to see his play in Season 3/AE.

I'm thinking it was more Nemo learning the MU on the fly. Juris not very common (cause she sucks) so Nemo probably hasn't played many Juris on the level of Infiltration

These are such good players that I want to see both of them in Capcom Cup.

Sigh, unfortunately this era was stolen from us, by the Banners, and the introduction of Luke in SFV, cause he eneded uo playing Luke in the small time he was unbanned

Infiltration almost had it. GG to both.

Want to see nemo take Capcom Cup now, would be the best story fighting from the LCQ and then taking it all!

It's sad that Infiltration lost but this was one hell of a match.

I love watching stuff like this where are you can tell both guys are just absolutely amazing with the character they have

Too bad they both couldn't get into Capcom Cup they really needed to get out to some more tournaments both guys had real life obligations that got in the way.

Infil will be back in his spot next year man, I can feel it.

Shit like 11:50 fucking infuriates me about this game. The animation shows her in the air. Why do crouching lows even have the possibility to hit? It's the same with her overhead attack. Tekken low to high crush system is an amazing example on how to handle these interactions. Please fix these wonky animation hit boxes Capcom!

ms03878 no, most modern 2D fighting have established systems that make hitboxes and hurt boxes make sense, both on the ground and in the air . Sure every game has their own level of funky interactions, but Capcom DELIBERATELY made moves like this not have lower body invincibility for some erroneous reason; the move IS grab invincible, since again, she's in the fucking air. Even if most 2D fighters did have these interactions as the norm, I'd still argue it's bad practice, spectators get confused, matches get stolen for making a correct read but getting punished, and it lowers characters options. Objectively there is no reason for these interactions to be present

That is pretty dumb. In guilty gear there are low crush moves so 2d fighters have this. Its just that sfv has some uhh...questionable design choices lol

SuperDR2K it's infuriating Infiltration kept punishing with V-Skill, getting damage and building up V meter and Nemo didn't care too much because it's trash damage, no follow up and Juri's V-Trigger is not that scary. Urien's on the other side... Infiltration whiff punished so much with st. MK xx Hazanshu but it didn't matter, since it's trash damage and barely any Oki. I like that Infiltration uses her and he's definitely good but considering how little stuff he gets to do and how much work and tendencies he has to catch from the opponent, people don't see how bad Juri really is. Nemo was the majority dashing in, receiving crappy damage, gets one or two combos and now things are even. Juri is so bad, Jesus Christ.

actually she gets really good oki after rodanzatsu unless the opponent back rolls and even then you still get oki if you can read it.

aspreedacore you Juri mains (because of course you're a Juri main) need to be congruent to each other because I just got into an argument with another guy saying exactly the opposite about that oki. An oki that passes from possible crush counter to be -4 on block is oki? Why wouldn't you block that "good" oki every time? Wow, these amazing guys hit confirming three options: block, hit and counter hit. Why we never get to see you guys at evo?? Let me guess, you guys suck

Just cause im a juri main doesn't mean I actually compete I test out all my oki setups againsi ken's light dp and tatsu wakeups in training mode which is the farthest reaching 3 frame attacks in the game btw. I do hope to compete at locals someday tho...

aspreedacore testing against L Tatsu is a bad idea because there's no priority with special moves and is very unsafe, best thing to do if you think he'll do it is to block. If you're pressuring, Ken shouldn't do a tatsu on wake up....

There are two days, it starts later today if you are referring to this match it's the Last Chance Qualifiers meaning the winner of this event takes the 32th spot in the CapCup Bracket going against Punk

Infiltration should have switched to Juri earlier against Nemo. His Menat was getting destroyed in quarterfinals by Nemo yet he insisted on fighting with her instead of switching to Juri.

Well that sucked. I guess I totally didn't call it. That's okay, Infiltration will be far more focused next season and won't have to go through this crazy gauntlet! WNF was still the hype though! Oh. Someone tell Punk he can breathe now. This was worth the watch just to see the ever changing (and highly amusing) expressions of Mr. Street Fighter who I would like to thank for hosting a Champion. :)

I like how that has nothing to do with my comment. If you were following fighting games longer than a couple of days you would know there is no such thing as a top player who keeps winning against another top player. (Anyone remembers Daigo's 10-3 against Infiltration after he lost to him in two separate tournaments, or the 10-0 vs Xian in the same event, after people said Xian was Daigo's "demon"...) But as I said whether Punk couldn't win vs Infiltration wasn't even point of my comment, only that Nemo is the far better player than Infiltration and if Punk should be so afraid of Infiltration, why would he be relieved having to fight Nemo? (Please don't tell me you're gonna bring up matches these two have fought in the past, again, because if you actually understood how close these matches were, you wouldn't do that.)

I guess we'll see then. He just didn't seem concerned about the match up but he *did* sound concerned about playing against Infiltration when they were at WNF. I don't think it has to do with Nemo, but with *Menat.* :)

Nemo deserved this SOOOO much. what a player. I wouldnt be surprised if he takes CC completely. You see during this match that at first he didnt know how to handle the hardly encountered Juri but as the match went on he figured out Juri and mostly he figured out Infiltration and totally turned it around. Nemo is a god. Happy for him

mkooij pretty sure he has played many juris before. Especially if he knew he was gonna fight infiltration which he must have. Nemo had an easier time against his Menat and everyyyyones Been trying to figure that one out and she’s a new character.

Hmm. So a man like Nemo couldn’t be bothered to learn the match up of a character that his opponent is known for until the day of, right that second?(and has won entire tournaments clean with.). Someone who was also favored to win over him? And didn’t he recently just go full Esports and quit his job? If this is true, then he has no chance of winning CC. If this is true, that is.

saotomebuster no of is actually so much one can do to fully learn an mu when there is so few people using that character but nemo learned it along this set and eventually completely shut down infiltration. Infiltration just couldn't cope with nemo's adaptability If that isn't godlike and capable of winning cc I don't know what is lol.

urien is not top tier. he has better damage and mix ups compared to juri though. urien is around top 10 in the tiers right now. infiltration said on twitter juri got a couple good buffs for AE

Nemo earned his win but now he'll just face Punk tomorrow and lose since he always loses his sets against Punk, at least if Infiltration moved on he'd have a more realistic shot at winning considering he 3-0'd Punk in WNF with his Menat. Regardless, no hate towards Nemo whatsoever, maybe he'll prove me wrong.

Nemo has beaten Punk before in NLBC and even though he lost the first to 10 it was close. I dont know man Nemo has a good chance against Punk dont count him out yet.

2:0-d actually and Punk used Rashid (?) in first game aganist him. Nemo get lost to Punk 10-7; 3-2 and then beat Punk 3-2 in NLBC. Honestly, Nemo has a lot more chance to get the first 3 aganist Punk than Infiltration.

I think infiltration matches up against punk better with character matchup, but I think nemo can win. Nemo will study how punk play too much money on the line not to.

I'm just disappointed we're not gonna see a character outside of "top tier" go on. Like come on, if a Juri beat Punk, imagine what kind of hype people will have for both Infil and Juri, but we get a Urien moving forward. Like.. Oh he won with that cool aegis setup again.. cool.. or oh another Karin won again.. All the big matches we're supposed to be hype about nowadays aren't as hype because, heck it'd probably just be down to Tokido Akuma vs Punk Karin again, or just 2 top tiers fighting it out.

Nemo will beat punk tomorrow. Punk will buckle under the pressure .

His character is obviously holding him back, he has done more with Juri than any other person on the planet. He recently picked up Menat so he can't be completely clean with her yet people like Nemo and Tokid have been playing their characters since they came out a YEAR ago and Punk has been playing Karin since forever. Even then he still got to grandfinals using Menat during the LCQ and he resetted the bracket against Nemo. How cna you say he has no chance of winning against these people. He was even the fucking Evo champion last year in SFV. Cant believe i'm taking your post seriously.
