Fighting games is something so great - Hajime "Tokido" Taniguchi

This video is my first exposure to EVO. It's a lot cooler than I thought. Despite thinking EVO is a bit overboard, *James' and Punk's tears* still got to me. It's nice to have something special that you can love and share w/ others.

That Tokido Filipino Champ match was very exciting

The best SFV Evo top 8. The stage looks really prestigious comparing the other years. And God, Fchamp vs Tokido and that grand final was so fccccking good

i miss seeing punk this focused and confident. the guy has the capacity to be one of the greatest of all time if he just finds a way to get his groove back.

Punk was an 18 year old kid at the time really feeling himself on his tournament wins that year, full of confidence. Tokido was able to break that mentality and keep his composure through the losers run. Punk struggled to handle this loss but he has absolutely grown as a competitor for the better.

Tokido really rattled Punk and he wasn't experienced enough to quickly recover.

Just rewatch the grand finals god damn it was super good

tokido dominated, but punk was still amazing against that pressure. I do not play this game; barely understand it, but I felt how tense that fight was.

Damn, Punk was devastated in the award ceremony :(

Man, I'm only 17 and I already sit just like Itabashi Zangief.

After punk beat Kazunoko I really believed the USA had it this year. They still haven’t won an evo but this year really felt like a lock with punk.

Tokido is my favorite player

Wow, James Chen was getting annoying on commentary in the grand finals. He spent 5 minutes talking about "Punk need to shake his nerves". I wanted to hear the match commentated. Punk's worse match was Game 1 on the reset... everything else was just unnecessary loathing commentary by James Chen. I like James, but this commentary was upsetting.

james needs to stop crying.
