I never thought that I would feel pity for these fictional soldiers...While watching this simultaneously, I literally imagine how those who serve in the battles would thinksfeel that the chance they are not coming back to their family isis high...

This is giving me so many flashbacks to the CSGO trailer. The fact that a guy on youtube could make something on the par of a million dollar company is no small feat. This animation was well worth the wait.

I think this is how CS:GO meant to be played. Everyone's teamworking and not arguing over ranks or gun skins.

When you think of SFM, you think TF2, HL2, Portal, etc. but I’ve never thought of anything like this in SFM. Truly awesome work.

I recognize the marines from battlefield 4 lol Edit: there’s something called “dead check” where you’d double tap an enemy to make sure they don’t shoot you in the back when you flow past them. They might be unconscious and wake up and fold you and your whole stack.

That is one of the reasons he was in place. In the alternative ending, there was going to be a shot of the Dima looking in the closet but he couldnt see into the closet from the position so that got scrapped.

Great video, I enjoyed watching it. There are a few things you could improve on to make this seem more realistic though, just a few words of advice, not hate. The general way they handle combat situations or move around could be improved, everything seemed a little slow and unorganized, especially the CQB when they go through doors and clear rooms. Some of them were just either standing in the doorway or didn't even have their gun up. Some took to long to clear corners and some didn't even check the corners at all (Unless that was intentional, I don't know). Small things like that could be improved for better realism. Other than that, keep up the good work man!

Always refer to Valves SFM tutorials like the Bible of SFM and Jimer Lins is a really good man for his tutorials as well. Learn things you need first then maybe try to learn other things on the low end like Particle instances or using Hammer to create your own maps (Refer to 3Kliksphilip for this) for example. If you dont know where to start, perhaps try to start a project and once you find something you need to do but dont know how to do it, refer back to the tutorials. It all comes with a lot of time and effort compadre. Good luck and work smart.

@@CorkScrewDood thanks, I've no idea why this didn't show up on my notifications. I've been messing around doing posters with sfm and they turn out nice. (I used to play with Garry's Mod, so composition and lighting were almost second nature lol) I can't wait to put some stuff out, I just gotta get the time to work. I'm totally gonna look up those mapping tutorials, that's much better than what I wanted to do for my projects -scenebuilding with props. Thanks again my guy!

I used Marines and a Spetsnaz unit, they are all official soldiers. This is an infiltration mission for the Spetsnaz.
