Bruh. 5:40 was so slick. He'd been reading the backstep all game and knew Hibiki was thinking about Lvl 3 so he threw Lvl 2 to catch the dodge.

Yup, though Hibiki could have just used a back jump to dodge... would have been safer and given the option for an EX condor dive.

@thomasromano9239 There was no perfect option. Lv1 would have caught her out of the back jump. Hibiki had to guess.
This matchup is hell for Gief.

Lights got a universal 20% damage scaling in S2 and many conversions with Gief use lp and lk. His medium and heavy buttons do more damage and take more drive gauge on block to compensate for that. It's likely his optimal routes will change, but for now Itazan is pretty much still playing S1 Gief.
