The second see-it-all Grand Prix edition of 2024 Full Access is here as we recap the Jeddah weekend with not two but three drivers, after the debuting Oliver Bearman deputised for Carlos Sainz as Charles Leclerc’s team-mate.
Charles secured his first podium finish of the season in Saudi Arabia, while Oliver had a dream debut in seventh. The team’s reserve driver, a product of the Scuderia Ferrari Driver Academy, began his weekend as a Formula 2 driver and ended it as the 97th driver to race and the 61st to score points for Ferrari in a Formula 1 Grand Prix after Carlos fell unwell with appendicitis. Get well soon, Carlos!
Next stop, Round 3. The Australian Grand Prix at Melbourne’s Albert Park.

I would love to be his friend, I have the same character as Ollie too. He's kind, quiet but you know how it is, only f1 drivers allowed on the drivers' parade and not strangers lol. Plus f1 paddock tickets are very expensive.

I still can't believe Carlos did FP1 and FP2 with appendicitis. He's a warrior. Hope to see him back in Melbourne to do another smooth operation (on the race track). What an amazing debut for Ollie! First race in the biggest racing team with tons of pressure and he managed to do such a great job with getting practice time only in FP3. That kid's got a bright future ahead of him and hopefully in a Ferrari. Really solid and great weekend from Charles too. He took the best possible result in quali and in the race. And getting the fastest lap at the end of the race was a really nice bonus. Let's see what the next race in Australia brings. Forza Ferrari!

Well Ollie, you just gained a whole lot more after that performance. Love to see him in a 2025 seat.
I definitely think that in ‘25 Ferrari is going to consistently start winning races.

That’s what I’m hoping!! I will be attending in Imola so I really hope that the extreme upgrades will actually catch the bulls

Would be typical if they start winning the year Carlos is dumped after three years spent working with Charles to get them up the grid, but Lewis will get all the praise.
