obviously the real experience always will be better, but this guy mike stemper makes the possible for to bring us a point of reference with his video comparisons; in my personal opinion, I'm grateful with mike for to make this comparisons and I think that other guitar players are grateful too; @jaremCh if you have other opinion ok, but the work that mike do, is good and helping, this is better than don't have any point of reference, greetings

@@kilianruvalcaba6904 I understand your point of view and I don't deny the time spent making these videos, but the reality is that it's not necessarily helpful. I got caught up in the game myself and now I don't watch all that anymore. In music there is no need for a point of comparison. You have to test it yourself in good conditions. Relying on these videos is like hoping to know the taste of something without even having approached it in real life. You have to taste it yourself to know ;)

The truth is that nothing replaces testing something by yourself. These videos are only a capture that shows differences using my current gear scenario. Even trying to be the most neutral possible, it's impossible to achieve a result that works for everyone. Everyone of us have different gear and infinite variables who affect the tone (woods, hardware, pickup height, wiring, quality of electronics, strings...). This serves as an auditive reference of how these pickups sound, but it doesn't need to be taken as a general rule or unique truth. For many users, this has been useful in this terms, but taking that into account, of course. Sorry to know they can't be useful to you, but it's really understandable, :)
