Brilliant device and congratulations to Pete Farmer and Seydel! For a very different angle on harp holders take a look at the Harparatus. It uses magnets to hold your harp under the vocal mic and gets rid of your neck brace entirely.

I gave up the neck rack for a Harparatus a few years ago and it’s great.

Mine arrived today from Farmer. Got to say, I love it. I got mine with the double harp option, and its works like a charm.

Great Tony, thanks for this. As a result of your recommendations at various times I have a Lunchbox Junior amp, and Audix Fireball mic. This harp holder might be next. But, how ‘intimate’ can you get with it? With my very limited experience so far with a harp holder, what I find most frustrating is trying to get a consistent close connection, without having to bend my neck to accommodate..Really uncomfortable. . UPDATE: OK, so I now have my very own Gecko. Without doubt, this little beauty is going to work for me . The adjustment options are terrific, and I can push my mouth into the harp confidently, to get that 'intimate' connection. Early days but I'm loving it.

I would be interested in demoing one.

Does this support only work with diatonic 10 holes harmonicas? I was planning to get a chromatic 12 holes harmonica and i' m not sure if it fits/this holder can hold it. Someone could help? Thank you

Does it work with stainless steel harmonicas like the noble and the lightning or the nonslider?

I purchased this but my neck is short . This t is too high . It does not go much lower. Be aware when you buying. I had to go to the pain of returning the product.

Is magnet safe for reeds?

Are there any issues between steel reeds and the magnet?

With tremolo harmonicas with steel reeds, e.g. the Seydel Skydiver, there can be problems. However with regular Seydel diatonics, with stainless steel reeds, there are no issues.

Will it work with the longer Seydel Sailor or Skydiver tremolos or does the extra length of those cause a problem while playing?

Unfortunately it will not work for the SkyDiver due to the reeds being mounted as they are for the Tremelos to work. I have not yet heard about the Sailor yet? I will look into it.

Just don’t use it with steel reeds. I destroyed a couple of reeds by overbending down to the magnet.

I want this but I live in Brazil ...

The two slots where the two neck loop rods slide into the rest of the harmonica holder (close to where the unit sits on your chest) are adjustable front-to-back. He has got one side of the neck loop rods pushed in further than the other side. This gives it a bent look when he holds the whole holder up vertically (like at the 35 second point in the video). This can be easily adjusted so each neck loop rod is equally pushed into its slot.

This is not the best harmonica holder !
