I agree. Even sadder is that she's raising her son like that too, without even realizing it. Even tells theo about how its not a bad thing to raise ur kid w a baby momma without realizing thats one of the biggest issues within the community she grew up in. I dont blame her though

Seen a couple of her videos and i pre-judged her from her art. Really loved the chemistry between the two. Two strangers chatting and just having a good time. Really enjoyed this episode.

This is a cool conversation. Down to earth and authentic. 💯

Theo is so charismatic. He can sit down and relate to anyone. Episodes like these are some of the best

Thats crazy I connected to the conversation about mixed race relationships, both my kids are mixed black chinese and filipino. I wasn't a big fan of Sexy Red's music, but after this interview Im a fan of her as a person. She seem real humble and relatable. Von is a great interviewer to bring that side out of her so people who dont know her music can still connect with her.

very cool interview man Theo Von kills it with his interviewing skills, and Big Sexy such a smart girl, she's a good person you can tell her heart is pure great stuff man, this interview has that first date vibe to it 😂😂 as relaxed as both Theo and Sexy were i think on the inside they were a little nervous

In college I had a friend who was so dark he said he was purple instead of black and me and him definitely had conversations about sunburns back in the day lol I remember trying to explain how your body is just radiating heat like a hot stone or the pavement in the summertime 😅😅 you could hold a hand an inch away from some sunburnt area and feel the heat but the burnt person feels cold because they're losing that heat. It's so strange

hey theo! loved the pod - as an audio guy make sure to high pass the final bounce! there's a ton of low end in people's voices that can get exaggerated with certain mics (like the sm7b) and compression. you dont need a ton of low end on a voice for it to sound good!

Sexy Red was the hood girl in school who got along wit every group in school

I love the type of people that can vibe and create chemistry with you, no matter your age, background, culture, etc. it’s so refreshing to see this kind of energy between these two
