A group of church leaders have started a new initiative that is aimed at upholding and promoting traditional Christian sexual ethics. The Greater Love Ministers’ Declaration states that “love” should be modelled on the example of Christ - laying down one’s life for others, rather than seeking self satisfaction or self-fulfilment. This comes as LGBT activists continue to call on the UK government to ban conversion therapy - they argue that the idea of marriage only being between one man and one woman is no longer relevant in our society.
