Everybody was once an innocent child..... The best, nicest, one in my high school group just turned up dead.... I followed the coroner report for five months.... at last: death by overdose of methadone, oxycodone and alcohol, complicated by perforated heart alcohol related... last one I would expect to have wound up that way..... very sad.... she must have been working at it for some time, too. Just that they have been at a low point in there lives and people continue to take advantage of the suffering they deal with both internally and externally. It’s such a shame. I pray they find light at the end of the tunnel and come out stronger so they may help others sharing their plight 🙏🏾

Choice? maybe it isn't a choice. Maybe they are being pimped and raped and forced. Possibly by family who abused them. Countless examples. Adult actresses. Who were raped by pimp, main ones who written books was always the case.

Withdrawals were terrible. But I knew that's not the life I wanted. I've been clean since. I will always be an addict, but everyday it gets a little better. No one can force an addict to quit. Sure you can try. The only way for an addict to get clean is if THEY want it.

how about fighting addiction with addiction? There's a chinese proverb about fighting poison with poison. Will it works? Like using game addiction to fight off drug? There's people who gamed too much that they deprived themselves of sleep and proper meal. I'm sure the crazy willpower they have will make them forgo drugs too.

Sadly, you can see that Natalie desperately wants to change her life, but because of her addiction, she finds it very difficult. This is why charities are so important, being there at the right time to offer support to those that are ready to embrace change. There might only be a tiny window on offer for that person to embrace change and recover. I applaud all these charities and workers who offer support in this way. If you manage to save one soul from further harm, well done you xx

Annie M. One thing about quitting drug abuse is that a person must on their own say "enough is enough". To come to this point they must either go through an overdose and be literally on death's door saved by Narcan administration or have some sort of life-altering occurrence that will snap them out... It is not easy. Successfully quitting a drug addiction and getting your life back on track is probably the hardest feat there is. Nobody can describe the misery and despair of a drug addict unless you've been there. It is literally a living hell in full sense of that word. You hate yourself for what you are doing, you lose family and friends, your job, people that loved you, you are regretting all sorts of things in your head, never-ending discomfort, anxiety, pain, depression dark depression, and the only thing that will help you and take that misery and pain is another hit of the drug.... and then all these demons disappear for only about 4-6 hours maybe 10, and then you are starting to itch for another hit .... it's no way to live... Governemnts should strategise a better sort of plan to get help to those who are addicted. Remember they are not all bad people, large majority of them had a though life, or bad luck, or some sort of tragedy or problem that has lead them to try drugs. I know some governments have free heroin dispensation where if you are an addict and out of drugs they will provide it for you to stop you from commiting crime to get the money. There should be much more understanding of these people then currently is.

Seriously, who wants to solve the drug problem? ? Drugs is a money making industry of its finest. Do you seriously think that the government gives a shit about its people? Do you have any idea how much money they make by distributing and selling this shit? Same as with weapons. Only pathetic, little, nobodies like us, want people to be clean and happy. The big guys up there want the opposite. The more drug-addicts, the better. There will always be drugs and addicts. There will always be people that profit from this trade. And as always, the police and government is turning their eyes the other way. There is no end to this problem, as long as it makes money and as long as we have the corrupt elite. So people like Nathalie won't stand a chance.

This is precisely why there should be stricter penalties for drug dealers, similar to the measures adopted in some Asian countries. I'm not suggesting that addicts are not accountable for their own actions. However, profiting from the immense suffering of others is one of the most morally reprehensible acts a person can commit.

As for the penalties, it uses corporal punishment and the mandatory death penalty for certain offenses, both of which are considered unethical. I'm an opiate addict. I was forced to get clean about 5 years ago. I detoxed and 5 days After, I was back on. About 7 months ago I was tired of it. So I quit cold turkey. Withdrawals were terrible. But I knew that's not the life I wanted. I've been clean since. I will always be an addict, but everyday it gets a little better. No one can force an addict to quit. Sure you can try. The only way for an addict to get clean is if THEY want it.

It’s just a switch in your mind you actually have control of. Stop giving the addiction power and you can stop feeling the need for it. There are always those moments where we feel strong enough to overcome the addiction followed by that little voice that says we are strong enough but we should start tomorrow, yet it’s just like Groundhog Day.....it repeats until we put our foot down and say “I want to be fit more than gator I want to be free of this drug more than I want to be high.” It’s easier than you think if you remove yourself from the environment and commit to yourself. WE ARE ALL STRONG ENOUGH TO STOP THE INSANITY. BLESS YOU ALL!

National minimum wage in Croatia is £477 per month.. Which is nowhere near the lower end of the spectrum when it comes to poor wages. Minimum wage is calculated with regards to the countries own economy and price of living. Britain is one of the most expensive places to live and everything on the shelves is more expensive than the majority of other European countries. So the British minimum wage has to be calculated to reflect that. Just cuz it seems like a pittance to people who live in the countries with extensive wealth doesn't mean that's how it's considered wherever they come from.. Most immigrants move because there are no jobs not because they pay shit wages.. Or the jobs available can't cover their entire families cost of living. Even when the countries are shit holes they're still affordable to live inside! That idiot rents his teeth out to hookers what does he know about the cost of living or minimum wage by country and economy. He probably judges the rise and fall of the cost of existence by the price of a can of tennents super.. He doesn't even have to pay his own bills the council does it for him. No wonder so many people were fucked when universal credit was introduced and they were responsible for paying their own rent.

One thing I've learned in my travels. No matter where I move or vacation. Takes forever to establish genuine friendships. But, takes about 2 hours or less to find drugs.

If that’s not the truth.... it’s amazing that no matter where you go, people are ready to enable you, and then they call themselves your friends. Friends don’t do that kinda stuff to each other. I’ve had a lot of so called “friends” that have enabled me I. The past. Friends want you to better yourself, not lead you down a path of self destruction.
