I want to correct you guys! Emergency pills arent a means of contraception, as the name suggests, they are used wen someone has unwanted pregnancy or has faced a sexual abuse( which makes the lady at risk). It is not at all a ROUTINE method of contraception. Youngsters use these days as an alternative to the other forms of contraception wen they have high risk encounter which is soo wrong.. It is definitely not for routine but a management option for unwanted prenancy or abuse!

Regarding the number 5: it depends what form u use. for example dual contraception is always preferred and safe than a single one, if a female uses OCPs and the couple uses condoms(either male or female condoms) but it is not advisable to use male and female condoms together!!

And regarding the last point, hormonal pills have various contraindications, meaning there are some conditions which make hormonal pills absolute NO NO!! So you have to consult a doctor to make sure you are eligible to use them!

Pregnancy during periods is possible because everyone may not have 28 days regular menstrual cycle! And menstrual cycle normal range is 21 _ 35 days! And ovulation occurs 14 days before first day of period!For a woman with 21 days cycle , ovulation occurs on 7th day of her menstrual cycle! So if she had sex on 7th,6th,5th,4th day of periods she may get pregnant! And for woman with menstrual cycle even less then 21 days,chances are even higher!
