This is just great! And it is very good advice for men entering a marriage or considering to engage in a serious relationship with a young girl,also,plenty of young men do not have this kind of teaching from their parents,but our God always provides guide for us.

I have a follow up question. How do we teach our sons to handle women with chips on their shoulders? I want our sons to be like Christ and teach that many women now a days are angry towards men.

I agree, I do have the "chicken and the egg" question. Did egalitarian elimination of gender roles give rise to these abuses or did gender roles abuses lead to egalitarianism?

True, I guess I'm asking about what bad habits prompted this particular misunderstanding of scripture? The unregenerate refuse Christ because they love their sin but also because they where not preordained to repentance. So Egalitarians embrace gender neutrality because sin has perverted our understanding of headship in marriage, but also could it be that men have mishandled our stewardship of women provoking this imbalance?

I agree both parties. However we complementarians rarely mention our mishandling of our headship. Just the unbiblical nature of "Egals". We aren't taken responsibility for oppressing women in out complementarian past. Confession is a sign of true repentance right?

How does Piper have any credibility on this issue, when he suggested in his blog that he would not kill an intruder who threatened his wife?

Are you saying that Biblical Gender Roles is the answer to sexual abuse? Well, I can tell you instances in the bible where sexual abuse is linked to "Biblical Gender Roles". The point is IT IS PRINCIPLES and the viewing of women and men as INDIVIDUALS worthy of inherent respect that prevents abuse, not gender roles.

You’re so wrong! You’re saying that egalitarianism is the cause of the abuse of women. But it’s actually complementarianism that has called all of this. It’s the assumptions of male hierarchy, male superiority. I wish you would stop lying to yourselves and others. There is no other reason for the male entitlement than that. It is the same idea of “special responsibility and care” towards the woman has let to their subjugation and over implementing “responsibility” on one gender that has led to male depression and pressure on women which turns into abuse.
