Sewing Room Makeover (2020)
My sewing room makeover is finally being revealed. After waiting for almost a year, my sewing studio makeover is complete and I'm so excited to share my new space with you. I converted my master bedroom into the sewing studio. In this sewing room tour, I'm sharing all the details and giving you some behind the scenes footage of the makeover in action. We're even going inside my drawers and storage bins. Yep! I'm holding nothing back.
Whatever you do, don't miss the end. Why? Because I want you to see my lovely lounge area in use. LOL! 😂
I'm super excited to sit down at my new sewing table and make my first garment in this beautiful space. I'd love to hear what you like most about my new sewing room. Leave a comment.
One of my favorite items in the new space is my Tea Cart which was purchased at TJ Maxx. There are similar options in my Amazon Store.
✅ Many of the items I share in the video are available in my AMAZON STORE. Look for the "MY SEWING ROOM" folder inside the store. www.amazon.com/shop/anitabyde...

For goodness sake how can 26 people give it a thumbs down? What's not to like? A beautiful lady showing a beautiful room. Some people are just jealous. 💕💖🙏🙏

That is great, my current two favorite shirts are “Fabrictabra: magically finding fabric you don’t remember buying” no “I Live on Jesus, Coffee, and Goldfish” a kidmin shirt lol
The best is Give me Jesus !!!! The room is lovely and so are you !!!🙏💕
What I like most in order is: the sewing stations, your relaxation space, your desk space. All of it is simply AMAZING. You did a great job.

Your sewing studio is lovely. I'm trying to find something to inspire my mom. This is it. She , like you, loves Jesus and sewing. Thank you for sharing.
Torn about the favorite but I have have to say IMPRESSED that you have a fireplace, a tea cart and a space to relax within your work place. Fantastic examples of designing what you want into your life.

I'm not sure I can pick out a favorite. The entire space just feels like a warm hug and positivity. Perhaps my most personal favorite is your homage to God. OMGosh! You just blessed ALL of my heart, Zina! Thank you for your enthusiastic encouragement. Yeeeesss! Praise Him with me, sister. I sure hope you find that tea.
Your new sewing room is phenomenal! I not only love the aesthetic look and feel of it but I love how well thought out and organized it is. The features I liked best were the soft colors, the height-adjustable chairs, the board that had sewing patterns clipped to it as upcoming projects. I adored all the inspirational verbiage that you placed on the walls and your Bose stereo. There is nothing more relaxing than sewing to soft music. Although I'm not much of a tea drinker, I have to admit the tea tray was "to die".

Ooohhh, thank you so much for such lovely feedback. I'm so glad to hear that you love my new space.
I'm in the process of renovating my first ever studio space. I've been a fabric artist, painting and sewing professionally part time for the past 58 years. My husband and I are retired educators and we moved into a new house that has a space for my studio in the basement. I am now a full time Fabric Artist. We just finished putting down the insulation and sub floor. I love your attitude, the flat slotted wall, cutting table and storage spaces and the way you set up your peg board. I too love tea and listen to the spiritual teachings of God.

What a beautiful thought. Thank you for saying that. Congratulations on your new grandchild on the way. I know you will have a blast sewing for her. Thank you so much for your prayers. Beautiful room, thoughtfully designed! One thing though: the way your batteries are stored is a fire hazard! Stored jumbled in a jar, they can short, spark and cause a fire. They should be stored parallel with the polarities in the same direction, side by side; either vertically or horizontally is fine. (Do not align end to end.)

Omg....love your happy space! Girl that tea cart! I was just saying that i need a tea set for my granddaughter and me to have tea time. She’s only turning 3, but she is girly already and i purchased “tea with grandma and me “ tea cups when she was born, but we are having a tea party on her 3rd birthday in February. I got her a little sewing machine for Christmas 🤗. She loves watching me sew, and drags an old toy sewing machine around with a scrap of fabric..lol, that belonged to my youngest daughter ages ago. Anita, I have been looking at your videos these past two weeks and I really enjoy them. I haven't sewn for quite a long time (though I do a lot of alterations), but now the sewing bug had bitten me. I have an extra bedroom which I would like to set up as a sewing+ room and I really love your sewing room makeover. I need furniture and your layout for your machines would do well for me. I have 3 machines - a sewing, a serger, and a blindhem. I also love the cutting table. I also want to say how sorry I am to learn of your husband passing. I know it's not easy, but your faith will get you through it. Mine departed 7 years ago and it's seems like yesterday. It's nice to see your smiling face.

Oh Molly! I'm really sorry to hear about your husband. I totally understand when you say it seems like yesterday. I feel the same and I truly believe only those who have this experience can truly understand. Thank you so much for sharing your word of encouragement about faith getting me through. Molly, I am living this truth, sister. God is my EVERYTHING! I'm standing because He has help me up through the entire journey. You just put a huge smile on my face. I'm so EXCITED about your sewing room makeover!!! Molly, I had so much fun with this project. And every time I enter my space, I smile. It's truly my happy place. Have fun with your makeover.
Love your new space. You have not only created a room that you can be creative in......the space also says to me......come in sit for a while......let’s sew! The colour palette i really like. Not so overwhelming as your colours are “ sprinkled “ throughout the room . I really like the way you created zones for different jobs.......the way you included the “ not only for sewing “ items is a wonderful idea. I’m going to watch the vlog again and take some ideas and use them in my spaces. Thank you for sharing...........the fruits of your labor🥰 🥰

Anita - I love it all........but my favorite is your color scheme and the outfit you're wearing that matches everything else! I also am a tea lover and have some beautiful tea pots. I love that you've displayed some in your sewing sanctuary!

Hello, my fellow tea drinker. Thank you so much. I really feel like a delicate flower in this space.
You have designed a wonderful environment for yourself. The funny thing is we have made exactly the same sewing table. I put mine together about three weeks ago. What I like most is the fact your sewing room is so organized. There is a station for everything. There is no need to move something in order to take the next steps in the project. I'm not there yet, but it will happen The ironing station is just everything!! Sister Anita thanks for showing me the way on that. I really enjoy your video's. God bless you and yours. Octavia.

Hey Treva! Thank you so much! Oh, I'm so glad you got some tips for your new space. Have fun decorating.
I love love love your sewing room but I love the Godly words, the tea assesories, and the sewing table and the cutting table that your hubby made with the large cutting board and the ironing area. And I love how you organized your drawers. You have made me interested in cleaning up my beautiful home and organize my sewing rm, mail art rm, clothing rm, make up rm and prayer rm. thank you. Let your light shine.

I don't know what I have more of: tea cups, teapots, tea sets or fabric! You and I are sisters from different mothers!!!! 🥰 I have a few sets of Royal Albert china tea sets, one Laura Ashley tea set, and several others. Wish we lived in the same area, Anita! We'd be just happy as clams with our sewing machines and tea parties!!! ❣🫖
