Everything is beautifully done and thought out...yayyy for you. Enjoy 🤩.
Yayyy..im so excited for you🤗
Being an advanced sewer it scares me to do anything with a lining. Will you PLEASE do a tutorial with a pattern that is lined? Ty
So good to see you are back with tutorial’s!!! Please do more. I enjoy watching them and learning. I’m an advanced sewer, but always love learning the basics. Love how you show step by step and don’t skimp!!! Thank you ☺️
The best is Give me Jesus !!!! The room is lovely and so are you !!!🙏💕
I just bought this amazing machine today, and this instruction video has helped me so much! I cannot wait to put into practice these techniques and learn what all the Euphoria will do. Great video; thank you!
How easy is it to take the plates off to clean the area around the bobbin and thread area. I have the soprano and it’s a bit of work to get the screws in and out.
I am thinking about getting this machine in the future
Wow such an excellent tutorial you have such a beautiful gift for sewing and teaching thank you for sharing with us!❤️
You're very welcome.
love your t-shirt :)
Thank you. 💕
I have the Chorus and love it! So glad you are doing these videos in case I don’t know what else my machine can do.
So Anita, this machine is not a dual feed, right? Does Baby Lock have dual feed machines?
It comes with an awesome dual feed foot. I’ll be demonstrating with it in a later video.
Very very nice sis....thanks so much for sharing. Looking forward to the other videos on this particular machine 😊
You’re very welcome.❤
Hi. I have Baby lock machines. I was wondering if you, could ask Baby Lock to send you a Vesta. I would love if you could do a full demo on that machine and maybe there sergers. Thank you for doing the Vibrant demo/sew along. I now added the 55th Anniversary edition model. Have a nice day.
I just received the Chorus recently so I have no plans to add a new machine any time soon. There is a full series on the Vibrant serger.
@@AnitabyDesign Thank you. I have watched the vibrant video multiple times and sewed along the T shirt video. You are a great teacher.
All beautiful. I love the “pretty” you’ve brought to the sewing space. Many rooms go for the white clean look. You brought pretty. I love it.
Thank you so much!
Great information, have a wonderful weekend
Thank you! You too!
Hi Anita, I am waiting for my new cover stitch machine to arrive. I didn’t get a babylock but I’m sure these examples will help tremendously. I cannot wait for it to get here. I’ve watched for a few days now for some videos to prepare for my new friend but no one explained how/where to line up the fabric and explained that the key is to ensure your folded fabric is even (and cut straight) all the way from end to end like you did. I sew with mostly knits so I can’t wait!
Awesome! I'm so glad the video was helpful. Congratulations on your new coverstitch. Have fun getting to know it and creating beautiful work. I love my machine so much.
Wow! So helpful! Thank you!
You are so welcome!
Thank you so much for these videos. They are by far the BEST demos of machines. You explain every single thing which is what people want when buying a new machine.❤
Thank you so much for sharing your feedback. It's very helpful for future machine series videos. I'm glad you enjoyed the tutorial.
Thank you. So detailed and calmed my jitters on making this dress for my self. I bought my material last summer thinking I can do this it’s one seem. It’s still in a bulk piece and an ufo( unfinished object) Now looking forward to going from material to summer dress!
Yay! I'm so glad you saw the video and find it helpful. Have fun sewing your summer dress. 🤗
I would love to see this with sleeves and pockets. I loved how you made it so easy to understand.
You have the best instructional video in KZread. I love watching all your tutorials. Ive been searching all over youtube for a tutorial for Vogue 1783. Unfortunately i cannot find anyone. I hope one day you will do a sew along❤
Omg, I ALWAYS have that problem with facing in store bought clothes! Now I have to try the stitch in the ditch on these garments. Thanks! 🤗
Can't wait to start sewing this pattern. Is the seam allowance already added in the pattern? Asking because I'm used to Burda patterns where you have to add seam allowance yourself
Yes, seam allowance is already included.
I love the texture of the fabric you are using. Its not too thin and not too thick. I've looked around and can't seem to find it anywhere. If you have any suggestions, I'm all ears.
I've had the fabric for many years. I'm not sure but you can check with different fabric stores online.
Your tutorials are THE best! Thank you so much for sharing your talents with us here on You Tube. I have a question about sizing when working with knits. Accordingly to the pattern sizing on the package I would be a size 12. Do you usually size down when working with knits? Last time I made a knit dress is was quite baggy and I’ve heard it is good to size down so you have negative ease. I would love your suggestions about this.
I always choose my patterns based on the finished measurements. With knit garments, if I want a snug fit, I choose a size that will give me negative ease.
I enjoyed your sew long I think I'm going to try that but I'm going to make a skirt instead of a dress
Thank you! That was an excellent demonstration I just purchased this machine abt 2 months ago and need some lessons on how to implement it in my sewing studio. Do you have additional videos with the specialty feet applications? 😊
You're very welcome. I'm glad you enjoyed the tutorial. Congratulations on your new Euphoria. I do not have a video with specialty feet at this time.
OMG I love you after five seconds ❤
OMGosh! 💕🤗💕
Love your channel! Thank you for everything you share!
You are so welcome!
I am excited to find this tutorial! It just popped up in my feed out of nowhere. I quilt, not sew garments, but I also just learned English smocking. I had no idea JoAnn fabrics sold smocked fabric. With my sewing experience, making this dress will be no problem with your great tutorial. I may also try to add some smocking design to the front of the dress if the material lends itself to that. So thank you!
Yay! I'm so glad the video popped up for you. Have fun making your dress. 💕🤗💕
You didn't explain the pressing cloth. Is that and the Ham covered in the course?
Yes, as I mentioned at the beginning of the video, this tutorial assumes you have basic sewing skills in order to follow the sew along. The press cloth is something I teach my students about when they're learning to sew.It prevents scorching and water spots depositing onto your fabric should your iron leak.
Thanks, excellent tutorial
You're very welcome.
Love your videos
Thank you so much.
I have purchased this pattern. I hope I will look as lovely in my dress as you do in yours. Of course, i shall.be following along. I have gorgeous soft pure cotton pique in an aqua turquoise, for this one. I love your dress, so useful.
Yay! Have fun making your dress. It's such a great pattern.
@AnitabyDesign Thank you, I am excited! I see this dress has a single back yoke. My mum always insisted on a double one, even if it was a plain cotton, because she said the entire garment hangs off those shoulder seams. What are your views on this?
@@sallyadams3981 I love a double yoke. It looks so much better and does strengthen the garment in that area. I think it's a great idea to always sew a double yoke.
@AnitabyDesign Thank you so much for that reaffirmation. I love watching you make current patterns, and I agree the split was way too high.
What beautiful fabric!
Thank you! 😊
👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
I love the shirt you're wearing ❤
Thank you 💕
🙏👌💐💋👍
Hi I love watching you I've learned some sewing from you. I love sewing
Thanks so much 😊 I love sewing too!!!! 🤗💕🤗
I’m so glad I came across your channel. I love your sewing a longs. Thank you!
What a wonderful tutorial! So thorough and clear. Thank you, Anita.
You are so welcome!
A great tutorial. Thank you Anita
You are so welcome!
I bought similar fabric with smocking, but eyelets all over and a very decorative hem line. How do I shorten the dress at the bottom of the smocking to preserve the beauty of the eyelet hem? ❤
The only way I can think of doing that is cutting the fabric at the end of the shirring and creating a seam after shortening to your desired length.
@@AnitabyDesign any suggestions on "fitting" the fabric at the bottom of the cut? I'm taking almost 10 inches off the length, so the circumference will not line up with the shirring. I'm wondering if I should see the vertical seam, then raise the lower portion up (without cutting it off just yet) then use the surger, with a cutting attachment to secure.. are there any tips to doing this, that you can think of? 🙏❤️
Absolutely helpful and detailed! Thank you
@@Angela-pi6zc You’re welcome 💕
That's me
Is there a way to add pockets to this design?
Cut the panel in half after determining your width. You will have two pieces instead of one. Sew the side seams together, adding pockets.
Can you add pockets to this dress at all?
