In this sewing lesson with one of my students I'm showing how to make a very simple heart-shaped plushie with a name embroidered on it. I'm teaching hand sewing to many of my younger sewing students who want to make gifts for their friends and family. These are fun, easy to make crafting projects that can add a personal touch to your holiday gifts. They're also a great way to use smaller fabric pieces and fabric scraps that may otherwise be tossed. You'll see I also use fabric scraps as the plushie filling.
