Thanks for the tour, I use to work in a sewing factory back in the 80's we use to make infant and children clothing. I loved sewing but we were piece rate, so it was all about how fast you could sew. All of our jobs were eventually outsourced to overseas and the factories all shut down. I still do home sewing now and am working on making doggy clothes, quilts and stuff for myself. I miss the nice industrial machines that we were allowed to sew on, on our off days.
I love her factory setup. It gives me a lot of inspiration on how I can arrange my sewing room to accomodate a lot of equipment and tables with as little space as possible.

Oh my god, I would've never thought of using staplers for cutting!
I have a basic Singer 201 treadle made in Scotland, and do everything except buttonholes on it. I use a french seam rather than serge. I enjoy your videos. Many thanks for posting.

This tour is inspiring...
I love this! I own an online accessories brand, but love to have a setup like this! Would love to visit and maybe shadow or work here!
"Sewing Factory" lol is that a Rolling Sky reference? XD
that button holler is huge, my college production tutor was complaining that our college needed a button holler but looking at this if they ever get one i'd be surprised if they had the space for it cause they already have 40 basic industrial sewing machines and 4 overlockers spread in 2 rooms all machines are brother, any other machines a domestic for textile and embroidery purposes also they have 2 massive janome embroidery machines that cost £4k each and a lot of fashion/knitting and pattern cutting books also about 20 various mannequins for female, male and trouser mannequins

You're welcome! I deliberately excluded any detailed work being done because I would need to chase down permission to post their projects.

I worked in a sewing room for vinyl upholstery on a Juki like yours, I was taught to wind bobbins as I sew. I didn't have to stop what I was doing - just had to double check when I first started to make sure it was winding correctly - but I wonder now if that was wrong advice?
@zoehongteaches

If it worked for you, it's fine.
To comment on your comment on the bobbin winder, as long as using same color, why not engage the winder and have it wind bobbins while you're sewing with it?
Ma'am Do you operate sewing machine .
Do you know why they use scissors instead of rotary cutters? I thought it might be faster to use a rotary cutter instead. Thanks.
@zoehongteaches

I don't know why they don't but I do not use rotary cutters because they're imprecise and you need cutting mats.
How do I get a job there.... Where are you located?..
I just remember the first time I use that cutting knife I was so scared I almost had my finger cutted. Affortunately my teacher helped me and we were working with an especial glove which really protected me.
