Great job!!! I'd add some reflective light strips for safty and shoulder straps which are connected with clips and can be hidden away whole riding . Love it!

Ended up using some metal bathroom hooks, 1€ a piece, on a piece of wood that was protected from water and rain with marine varnish (lacquer ? How do you say ?) . Not super sexy but i'm satisfied. Very inexpensive.

I used 1/8" doorskin 3 layer plywood for the back piece . Light , strong and the fabric is attached with small screws and lock nuts to the rack hangers at the top and external belts at the bottom.

I couldn't see how the bag is attached to the bike :( however , thanks for inspiration and cuddles to the dog❤

You forgot to pack kitchen sink! 😂

Hey man im about to try making my own panniers for a long term tour with waterproof nylon. Does the back plate strengthen the load bearing capacity of the material at all? I don't want to buy it if it isnt necessary.

Not all of us know how to do this stuff. Besides, you should be able to figure out the measurements.

people just like to show off on KZread but they don't share about how they did it. Videos like this just ends up being useless to me.
