Enjoy my attempt to make an aesthetic sewing video. But I hope you enjoy this video and hopefully I didn't bore you to sleep but fashion is something I love and am so passionate about so I thought I would share a little bit about my journey with sustainability and what I have learned. I would never judge someone for what they buy or don't buy because everyone's lives are different, this is just my thoughts and experiences. Thanks for watching guys and stay tuned for more tutorial videos coming soon :)) stay safe, happy, and healthy

I have just starting sewing over these last few months, I have started to turn some of my old pieces into new ones and im happy that more people are helping the planet. I did a school project were I had to learn about the fast fashion industry and it really made me realize how much we need to help our planet. Love your videos:)

I love watching shows like Little House on the Prairie. They didn't consume and throw away at an unhealthy rate, they treasured what they had and they made what they had. What they had was special and they took care of it, and I've put myself into that living habit and that mental state and it is 100% more healthy. I've started to learn to sew and make my own clothes, or go thrifting, or exchanging clothes between friends. I also try to take really good care of what I have and not throw them away so easily. Love this

i think it would be nicer if you put the right side of the fabric together and sew along the perimeter excluding where the wire are going and a gap to flip the fabric that way you dont have to sew a fold and there will be no raw edges, looking forw for more vids (:

Hey, this is the first video of yours that I’ve seen and I just wanted to say that I really appreciate your outlook and want to educate the public on this topic. I’m at about the same wavelength as you in terms of wanting to do what we each can reasonably do to make our world a better place. I had no idea how much the fashion industry impacted our environment as I had honestly never really thought about it before. I’ll be researching more into this now, so thank you for that. As for methods of sustainability, I’m all for thrifting and refashioning, but I’m curious as to if you ever purchase clothes from the thrift store strictly for the fabric that it is made out of in order to make an entirely new piece? Or if you only use each piece you purchase just to alter it here and there and make it work for you? My only concern is that I’m not very interested in redesigning already-made pieces, but I’d be more than happy to purchase thrift pieces for their fabric. My only concern would be that there isn’t enough fabric to make anything out of if I did it that way. What are your thoughts?
