I'm planning to make a Bt21 rug to hang on wall and this is really helpful.
This was very helpful! Thanks!
Another way to make a frame is to go to the art supply store and just buy four stretcher strips. Put them together and glue them. That way you don’t have to take any canvas off. It’s very easy.

What size was your frame? Loved the video btw!
a cool tip for getting art up on your walls with diy projects is getting dollar tree frames and painting them to match your art.
What mm is the punch needle?
Acrylic yarn is washable 💗💗
Can I use burlap ?
Nice design but need to have that canvas tighter when actually punching. And leave yourself a bit more of an edge for gluing down it will make it much easier. Blessed be
Can you post a link to the yarn?
Ilike
Hey I was wondering if the size of the yarn matter??

Yes the size of the yarn, size of the needle and the kind of yarn all matters. Check out Amy Oxford videos.
Can we wash it in the washing machine?
Would a embroidery hoop work as a frame?
@shannayeh

yes! if you’re making something smaller an embroidery hoop would be perfect!

What is yor needle size?
can you just use the canvas to punch right in it? i mean the cloth looks similar(?)

idk tbh, i wouldn’t do it bc in order to create the right tension required for your punch needle stitches, you do need to use a specific type of fabric. and monks cloth is an even-weave fabric and you’d be better off buying that. and monks cloth isn’t rly that expensive per yard. you might be paying more for canvases bc those sure ain’t cheap especially the bigger u go

I wouldn’t do it - I’ve tried to embroider through a canvas before for an art project and it was super hard bc of the thickness of the canvas. Monk’s cloth is perfect
Where is your specific cloth from? My thread keeps coming undone :(

You can find a set pretty easy on eBay and Amazon
Its a tyler flower
My girlfriend is trying this word for word but the yard isn’t sticking or looping. It is just punching holes in the cloth

hey this was happening to me and i don’t know if u figured it out yet or not but i had to turn my punch needle thing the other direction if that makes sense
Thars a good idea 💡 but I'm worried about the nails thier way too long. I would get carpet strips. I think thats what it's called.
X favor ,en castellanooo
The monks cloth at Michael and Joann’s is not the real stuff. Real monks cloth has lines on it😊
Hi, I hope you read the comment, can you tell me what thread do you use? Please

Put on the ‘floor’. ‘Ground’ is outside. And if you slow down a bit, more people would like to watch your neat tutorial.
