Lyles had his typical slow reaction time he never improved on that what he improved on was his acceleration which showed in how he ran back as he did indoors. The gun is fast for everyone, not just Noah. So if it's a disadvantage for him, it was for everyone else, which means there was no advantage for anyone. That said, you clearly didn't watch the video at all, because they did acknowledge that there is merit to what Lyles said about the start and acknowledged that his reaction time was slower than usual even by his standards. You say 9.85 is no small feat, yet 9.82 PB and a world lead as a season opener over 100m for Seville is not a masterclass?

Noah doesn’t have the best start which he needs to work on, and the gun could have been fast or the stadium could have been too loud for him to hear the gun. He usually doesn’t make excuses so he probably didn’t hear the gun.

Five.meters before the tape, Seville slowed down and looked over to his right, Lyles still didn't catch him. Seville is peaking at about the same age Bolt did.. Come Paris you'll see.

Noah lyles vow to take revenge at the Olympics. Noah lyles not sure he'll be in the top 3 at the usa trial. That's very tough. Coleman, Benderik, kerley, brommel and some young newbies from the usa collegiate system. No one is safe anything can happen.. USA and Jamaica trials are the hardest in the world. Anyone of these guys can beat lyles, and if they are all in the race anything can happen. He can also beat them as well but the point is nothing is certain.
