This video finally shows the true sacrifice Snape had to make because loving Lily made him part of two worlds. The one he wanted to be in, that had professors and people he cared for but everyone in it hated him and the one he was trusted in but he hated to be part of.

One of the greatest stories ever told. One of the greatest tributes made. The greatest character in the series. Remembered always. We loved you Severus.

RIP Goat Alan Rickman still is one of my favorite actors

Agreed: fortunately in real life, he found and married his soulmate but so tragic that the world lost him so prematurely 😢I’m trying to watch his pre- HP work and glad there are several you tube tributes to him😬

Amazing how they recruited such acclaimed British actors: Rickman , Gambon, Dame Maggie Smith, Oldman , Arther Weasley actor ( Williams) and the correct directors to deal with the largely inexperienced kids playing the trio

When he walks into the room, and sees Lily dead on the floor, and staggers into the wall then slumps down ... it's heart wrenching!😭 Such a magnificent portrayal by dear sweet Alan 💔💔

I said it under another video. I would love to see a prequel of Voldemorts first rise to power but while I think you could find younger actors to play just about any part, two will be impossible to replace, there's just no young Alam Rickman or Gary Oldman to play Severus Snape and Sirius Black!

You know, it's interesting. When someone seems so flawed and obnoxious, you suddenly appreciate them when they're gone. It was like that when Snape died, and sometimes I wonder if it would be the same thing if I was in his shoes. I have reason to believe that my ASD makes me stand out and makes others perceive me a certain way. Do you know how often I said dumb things, like at work? I stupidly mentioned a man’s right to hit a woman for self-defense, and a new coworker proposed a new topic. And I doubt she likes me, because when I was casually chatting with a baker while waiting for the desserts, she entered and said “harassing the baker, John?” I asked why she thought that, and she said “Because you’re John.” Or how about the time I told a coworker (whom I didn’t think would resent this, since he’s clownish, snuck up on a guy, and once made a weight joke to him) “put a sock in your àss. I mean mouth.” Of course, he actually did resent that and told me I can’t speak to him that way. I didn’t intend harm; he had interrupted a question of mine to another worker to (if I remember correctly) playfully diss me. I guess I was annoyed with the clownish interruption, but I didn’t mean for it to be obvious. When I apologized later, he replied unfairly: “you’re good, man. You just need to learn how to speak to people.” Way to make me feel better. And it gets worse. I was once taken to my boss's office with her and a high-ranking chef, about my filter. She told me that we need the workers to be comfortable in a good work environment; that I pretty much shouldn't talk about anything other than work and school (we're a university's catering service). That I shouldn't tell my stories because they may be inappropriate to my coworkers. Now yeah, I pretty much don't have a filter, and sometimes I guess I do say "inappropriate" stuff at work, but not _horribly or intentionally._ I just like to joke around and have fun with people. I really didn't get specific information from the chef about what and who. She understands/ likes that I'm outgoing, but she made it sound risky and in need of limits, for good behavior and my coworkers' sake. Sometimes I wonder how the chef, my boss, and my coworkers would feel if I was in some sort of fatal accident. If it would be like Harry's and the audience's grief when Snape died. If they would go to my funeral. If I could look into a crystal ball that showed the hypothetical future dependent on "what-if's", I would. I don't feel so appalled by the idea of someone assaulting me and my crew learning about it. Like, I think all the shame on myself, mixed with my resentment toward the chef, my boss, and my coworkers (who make me feel like an unlikeable misfit), is making me interested in something happening to me while they know of it. Like, I deserve it, they deserve it, and to make them appreciate me. I wouldn't mind getting hurt at work as they see. That's what point it's getting to.
